    "Could you maybe show it to me again, Donnie?"

It was now the next day, and I'm at the lair with my old childhood pets, that are also my friends.

I asked Donnie if he could teach me how to treat and take care of a wounded arm.
I was planning on going back to that forest and find that strange creature again.

Even if it was a complete accident yesterday, I'm determined to find it and maybe help it recover from that nasty injury.

If it will let me that is...

"Of course April!" he smiled and went to untie the bandages that he wrapped around Mikey's arm, so he could demonstrate to me how to do it... yet again.

"Why do ya wanna learn to do it anyway?" the turtle in red, who we all know is called Raphael asked, as he walked in.

He just finished his workout I'm guessing and came outside to check what's going on.

The rest of us were sitting on the living room couch.

More like Leo and Mikey were comfortably relaxing on the comfy matrices next to each other, while Donnie and I were seated in front of them.

The brain of the group was showing me the ropes on Mikey, and I was trying to copy his every move on Leo's hand (that just sounds weird).

"Yeah, girl! Why the sudden interest in learning?" Mikey asked curiously.

I got tense after hearing the questions and felt cold sweat run down the side of my head.

'Oh, shot! Quick April, THINK!! Just think of something!!'

"It's um... For a friend of mine. Yes!" I quickly said so they won't get suspicious.

"What? Why?" It was Donnies turn to ask and I saw the confusion on all of their faces.

"Um... well you see I have this friend."

'Pffft, yeah right!'

"He just got out of the hospital and the doctor told him that he has to change the bandages every day. But he can't do it with just one hand so he asked who could help him... Aaand turned out I was the first one to volunteer so yeah! Here I am!"

'You're such a liar, April. Shame on you!'

"Oh, I see." Leo was the first one to speak.

'.....did they seriously fall for it?'

"I feel sorry for the dude... Tell him I wish him a quick recovery!!"

Leo slapped his younger brothers head.

"Idiot."

I only chuckled in return, "Of course, Mikey!"
