    I just returned from work, back to my apartment.

The very first thing I did was go to my room and change to something comfortable.
Something ideal when you go out to the forest.

Yes, I, April O'Neil am going back to the forest...again!

I can't help it!

The atmosphere there is so relaxing!
It makes you totally forget about your problems and stress.

And I also get to spend some time with my pretty extraordinary friend and bond together.

After done changing, I made my way over to the kitchen to prepare some sandwiches and other light snacks for both of us.

I learned not that long ago, that Ripper has a big appetite.

I don't blame her... The snacks that I usually bring must smell really delicious and new to her.

And I know I shouldn't give her food, but I can't say no when she does those puppy dog eyes!

Yea, she can do the puppy dog eyes... I don't know how she does it either so please don't question me!

I was putting my stuff away into my backpack, that I always carry around when I'm going for a visit, when all of a sudden I hear my phone ringing.

Without even checking who was calling I picked it up, putting the smart device between my shoulder and ear, so I could continue on doing my business.

"Hello?"

"Good afternoon April!" a very similar voice said on the other line.

"Oh hi, Donnie! What's up?"

"Just the usual but umm... Could you maybe come down to the lair for a quick second?"

"Why? Did something happen?"

"We might have found something rather important... and we'd like to know if you know and share information about it."

"Alright, I'm coming over!"

"Great, thank you! See ya!"

"Bye!"

He hung up and I placed the phone into my pocket.

I threw the backpack onto my shoulders and walked out of the apartment building.

   It didn't take long for me to get to the turtles household.

But what was waiting for me, left me a little confused.

"Casey? Vern? What are you two doing here?"

The two men in question snapped their heads towards me.
Both of them were sitting on the couch of the living room.

"Hello to you to April! It's good to see you show up every now and again." Casey was the first one to greet me.

Vern just simply waved.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I was busy."
