What Jimin said in the car was disregarded; nobody could listen to his stupid pointless beliefs of people with magical powers. Not with Jungkook like this.
Everyone entered the dorm one at a time, Jungkook being the first. He didn't look back once, just went straight to his room.
The six of the members crowded around the white mahogany table.
"Hyung...? Did you really not notice anything...?" Jimin asked tentatively, chewing on his bottom lip even more than he should.
"Jimin-ah, I think it's about time you let this go..." Jin started, his voice soft as ever.
"So you guys didn't see it?" Jimin started again, like a madman trying to convince himself he was sane. The slight tremble in his voice and his glassy eyes did nothing but break the others' hearts.
"Jimin-ah..."
"Hyung, answer me. Did you, or did you not, see Jungkook's fingers glow pink?" Jimin's eyes were boring into all of their souls, tension so thick in the room you can cut it smoothly with a knife.
"No." A reply came.
"I'm sorry what?" Jimin nearly snapped his neck trying to face the direction of the voice.
"No, Jimin, I didn't see it. And I'm pretty sure none of the others did either," Taehyung replied roughly, clenching his jaw so hard lines were visible.
"Jimin, are you doing okay? Do you need to see a doctor? I'm sure we could-"
"IM NOT FUCKING INSANE!"
Jimin took a shaky breath. If this was how they wanted to play, then so be it. But one last thing, he thought they should know.
"I don't know if I can do this anymore-"
"Jimin hyung? I need you. Can you stay with me tonight?" Jungkook's meek voice came out of his room.
Jimin stilled. Jungkook never called him hyung unless he was scared; utterly sorrow, hopelessly terrified, hanging onto lies, bordering on the edge of giving up and full of raw emotions
"Of course jungkook ah. I'll be right there" Jimin replied softly, knowing fully well he could break the boy down to nothing but tears and sorrow. But he didn't want to.
This is his family. Jungkook was his responsibility and if Jungkook loved Y/N, then Y/N was his responsibility too.
He turned back to others, his gaze set hard and unfocused, as if he was talking to thin air.
"I'm sure as hell I saw his fingers glowing, and if you guys won't believe me and would like to label me as insane, then so be it. I damn well know what I saw and what I'm facing here and you guys will sure as fuck know I'm not lying about magic."
Jimin turned around, squaring up his shoulders and facing away from the people he considered as family. He should understand, he should say sorry, because none of this is their fault. But he didn't.
"If you guys want to play that way..."
He glanced back one last time, his tattoo shining through the fabric of his shirt.
"Then we will,"
He claimed, leaving the room with a smirk gracing his face.
