CHESS LIFE

I am Lalisa Manoban but I prefer to be called Lisa and I'm a chess grandmaster. I played chess for almost my whole life and maybe that's why My life was played like Chess.

I had a girlfriend,yes a GIRLFRIEND!Let me introduced to you My Girl.

She's beautiful,sexy,and have the most beautiful eyes In the entire universe!She's perfect!I met her when I was 13.
I was crying at the park that time coz I lost the queen and she help me find it.
She said I should not cry coz I am already a big girl and I ask her if she do cry and she answers no coz she's already a big girl,so I got motivated and started from that day we became friends.

It was new year,My family and hers are celebrating together.We are at our balcony waiting for the year to officially end.

"Lis,before this year ends.We must make our promises to each other. "She said while holding my hand.

"But promises are meant to be broken,right?"I said while frowning.

"Lis,in every weddings,the groom and the bride makes their own vows right?."I nodded.

"Your parents are the living proof that,not all promises are meant to be broken.See them?yeah they already celebrated their 50th anniversary."She pointed at our old couple neighbor.

"Yeah."I start to believe,I admire her.The way she makes complicated things easier for everyone.The way she talks about those things,she sounded like an adult.

"Okie so me first."She said excitedly while showing me her gummy smile.

"I promise that,As your queen I'll protect you at all cost and never leave your side."She said while giving me her sweetest gummy smile.

"Just like how queens in chess protect their king?"I ask her while my eyes sparkle.

"Yeah,,Or even more than that."She said while nodding.I clapped my hands.

"Okiee okieee,So now mee!If You are my queen of course I am your king!I'll value you like you're the only one who can protect me."I smile at her.

My tears continue to flow as I reminisce our promises.My life was just me playing chess against fate.Life put dangerous traps,Make everything hard for me,for us.But I still,we manage to surpass it.But just like chess,You need to checkmate your opponent in order to win,You can't take another round or say sorry,I supposed to touch this,NO! Remember every game has it own rules and on chess and life!Once you touch it,You must move it!.

We almost win...almost..But she broke her promise not the 'I'll protect you' coz she made it but On 'never leave your side'Coz she does.She leave me....permanently.Shell never be back.Fate captured my queen and that makes my life a mess.

She died....years ago coz of a heart failure...I already found my lost queen...but I lost her...again.

My life is a chess.I won All tournaments,won all matches...except my last match....Me vs. fate...
