I remember when life used to be good
When you'd care less to be rude
When you didn't care if you're fool
When it didn't matter if you cool
When you always felt amusedBut when you a teenager,
the world is so cruel
"You too small for those shoes"
Thinking you can't loose
Hoping for the best,
but remain screwed.You aim high,
You grow tall
But the distance from the top to the surface iso so long....
You try your best to remain strong
But everyone below your standard would do anything to see you crawl
You took a long a time to come up
But it's ten times faster when you fallSo you'll remember when life used to be good
When you'd care less to be rude
When you didn't care if you're a fool
When it didn't matter if you cool
When you always felt amusedSo you cry,
You even drool
You felt like a ten,
But now you're a two
Them insults keep on coming,
Just like the booze
The alcohol is the only alternative to deface the truthIt's like when you date
You think you're cool
You think you the one
You actually one of the two
It's like you think you're the only sun
But there's also a moon
The other one is at night
You are just morning and afternoon
Yeah,
Dishonesty is not coolSo you'll remember when life used to be good
When care you'd less to be rude
When you didn't care if you're a fool
When it didn't matter if you were cool
When you always felt amusedBrigde:
--My heart is oozing blood from all the breaks
Mind pops the question:
Do I have all it takes?
Is she even kinda my taste
She don't think twice about putting me second place
This feels like a Tyler Perry play
And pain is the price I have to pay...--Let go...
You ain't gotta hold on,
No more
There's power above us,
so strong
If you ever find yourself lost,
come with me let's go to God.So then life will be good
You'd care less to be rude
In God's eyes
You won't be a fool
In God's eyes
You'll always be cool
In God's presence
You'll always be amused

Confusion Of Happiness
PoetryA beautiful exposure to the roughness and beautiful emotional intensity of a young boy . A cry for help, but yet a better understanding of one's feelings -- both internal and external.
