Chapter 18

DRES POV:

Kendall's birthday is tomorrow. Too bad I can't spend it with her. Man.
Later that night I got a call from Kendall's mother. "Hello? Dre? This is Kendall's mother. Kendall was in a wreck. Right now she is not speaking and there's a possible chance she can be paralyzed for life." She said crying. "I know you too are not on good terms right now but you coming to see her will make her happy. She is at baptist hospital.
My heart instantly dropped. Some happened to Kendall? I said to myself. "I'm on my way Mrs. Newton."
I threw some clothes on and rushed to the hospital.
"I'm here to see Kendall Newton please."
"Room 34B." The woman said.
I ran to room 34B. I passed the waiting room and seen Kendall's parents. There was no time to speak, I had to get to Kendall. I walked in and there Kendall was, laying on the bed. She looked so hurt. Her face was all cut up. She was sleep at the time. I sat to the chair next to her and wrapped my hands around hers and began praying everything was going to be okay.

JAMIAS POV:

"Did you know that Kendall is in the hospital?" My mother asked.
"Yea, I went to see her." I lied. I don't want her to know that we aren't talking at the time. Then she'd want to know why.

KENDALLS POV:

I woke up to someone holding my hands. It was Dre. He was sleep in the chair next to me.
"Mmmmm!" I tried to hum and wait him up. It took be a couple times then he finally opened his eyes.
"Kendall baby! Are you ok?" He asked me. I shook my head. It felt so good to know Dre cared about me.
"I love you so much, I'm not leaving till they say you can go home and we can go together." He said looking in my eyes. A tear fell out of mine. It sorta burned due the cuts on my face but they were tears of joy. I squeezed his hand which meant I love you.

DRES POV:

Kendall still looked beautiful to me. I love her so much, I'm not letting her go.
I heard a knock on the door and there walked in Zeek with roses in his hand.
"Hey Kendall, you straight?" He said. Kendall eyes got big and i can tell she was sacred of something. "Mmmmmm!!!mmmmmm!" She started humming real loud non stop. She wasn't humming for no reason. That nigga did some to her.
"I think she wants you to leave." I said standing up to Zeek.
"Nah, I think she wants you to leave."
"Security!" I yelled. I might have sounded like a punk but Kendall didn't need to see this, she's been going through enough.
Security came grabbing Zeek by the arms. He struggle to get out of their hands. "I got that ass Kendall! You too you weak ass nigga!" He yelled across the hall.
