Chapter 20

KENDALLS POV:
8:17 am I'm just now waking up and I feel so good. After being on Instagram for about 6 minutes I got up and did my morning refreshments.

*RING RING*
Dre was calling me.

"Hello?"
"Wassup baby, how you feeling?"
"Good. I miss you tho, when are you coming?"
"In about 3 hours. I love you."
"Hmm, I love you too." I said hanging up.

I walked down stairs to see my mom cooking my favorite, chicken and waffles. I had a feeling today was going to be a good day. My dad was sitting on the couch watching football with Malcolm.
"Kendall, when are going to start planning going off to college." My dad asked me.
"I don't know dad, I don't even know what I want to...."
"And when are you going to get your own place? Your are now 17 about to graduate. It's about time you start your future career."
"I know." I said thinking to myself.
"How is Jamia, Kendall? I haven't heard from her in a while. What person doesn't come see their bestfriend in the hospital?" My mom asked.

I didn't reply. Jamia is the last person I want to even think about.
After eating my chicken and waffles I decided I get ready for my day with Dre. Knowing Dre, he's probably only talking me to the movies or something.
I found a really cute deep V neck short sleeve romper with some nice heels.
I took a 20 minutes shower to kill some time.
Before getting dressed I wand curled my hair. (I have a middle part)
I put my clothes on and walked down stairs. To wait on Dre.
"We'll look a little Miss Kendall."
My dad said grinning.
"Yes we make beautiful children, don't we, Will?" My moms said laughing.
"Yes we do! Let's go try for an other!" He said, we all laughed. I was disgusted though.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
I ran to the door and it was Dre. I was so happy to see him, I gave him a big hug and kiss. I don't know why I was so happy but I was.
"Hey Mrs. and Mr. Newton." Dre said to my parents.
"Wassup little man." He said giving Malcolm a hand shake.

We finally left house.
"So where are we going?"
"We'll that's a surprise but I got to run some to Princeton really quick."
"Haven't heard that name in a while."
I said taking a deep breath.
We pulled up to Princeton's house.
I stayed in the car. Two minutes after Dre left out, I seen a peak out the window. It looked like Jamia. I thought to my self, I know that can't be her. Then I looked again, it was her. "Oh hell no!" I blew the horn until Dre opened the door. "Come on we got to go Dre."
He came out walking to the car like he didn't just see her in there.
"So what was Jamia doing in there? She spoke?"
"I guess her and Princeton back together. I don't know, I ain't worried about them. Only person I'm worried about is my Mrs. Dexter and it's you." He said reaching for a kiss. His kisses are irresistible.
We pulled up to the beach. The beach we went to when we began "dating".
I don't see how it's a surprise, but it's cute I guess. Lmao. What a waste of a cute outfit.
"You should've told me we were coming to the beach, I would've worn a swim suit."
"You don't need a swim suit." He said smirking.
I didn't catch on quick to what he was said but then I got it.
I laughed as I got up and unzipped my romper. I ran to the water and dived in.
He followed behind me. We swum around for a little. He picked me up bridal style in the water. "Kendall, you don't understand how much I care about you, how much I love you. I want to spend every moment with you. There's not a day I don't think about you." He said and kissed me.
I'm not good at being romantic so I just told him "I love you Dre." And kissed him back. We kissed all the way to the car.
