Lara Jacobs finally turned eighteen on July 13th. She knew that very soon she would be going to Star academy, school for witches. Though to the outside it's just a school for the...special.
It's for young witches, but not many people know of it. There are not many witches left in the vicious world that is so against them. They made Star Academy years ago to keep the witches safe and learn about their powers and how to control them.
Lara didn't want to go to the school. She wanted to be a "normal" girl and go to school and hang out with her friends but her life hasn't ever really been that way and she knows she can't be normal.
Last year though, there was a change to the school. They allowed boys to attend.
Some girls were filled with joy, others horrified. But boys came in and have been living there for the past year. Same as the girls, there weren't many boys that do attend.
