The one with the spider

Robin awoke to the sound of urgent knocking on his door.
He jolted out of bed, grabbing his sunglasses and sliding them on as he rushed over to open it while asking
"Status Updat…"

What He expected to find was Aqualad with a new mission,
or with an urgent call from batman..

what he wasn't expecting to find was a speedster in pj's.

"Hey Rob, Can We uh,  switch rooms tonight?"
Wally glanced down the hall before adding "or hey since your up, we could play some video games!?"

Robin stared in confusion, wondering if he was really awake or if this was some kind of coded message about how the mountain was under attack
"Uh…"  he looked around the hall but didn't see any signs of trouble. He opened his mouth to reply  before another voice explained

"It was just a spider, Wally!" Artimis shouted from down the hall.

"No, it was a tarantula! there's a difference!" Wally shouted back

Robin started to wonder how Conner and kaldur were still asleep as M'gann appeared in front of him carrying a large spider in midair.

"I think they're kinda cute myself"

Wally jumped threw the doorway and threw himself behind Robin before protesting
"Would you stop carrying him around? he could bite you!"

"Calm down KF,She's got it trapped" Robin said while rubbing his eye behind his glasses

"Maybe Conner would want him as another pet?" M'gann added brightly

"Nuh-uh. The wolf is cool, the spere is awesome, but I draw the line at poisonous spiders."

"Wait, so you trust a wolf over spiders?" Robin asked

" uh Yeah. There are 37 kinds of poisonous spiders in the world and some of them cause paralyzing, If I got bite by one I could lose my powers so ...
yeah ill take the pet wolf any day."

"Alright  fine, I'll just take him outside then." M'gann turned to leave

"Don't leave it outside! it will just come back with friends!" Wally shouted behind Robin

M'gann smiled and shook her head before disappearing threw the halls.

"What time is it exactly?" Robin asked

"who cares? I can't sleep now..what kind of girl thinks tarantulas are cute?"

"Martian ones I guess?…"

" creepy thing..hanging from the ceiling, I woke up as it was climbing down towards my face, so of course I shouted...now Artimis and M'gann will make jokes for days but Who knows? it could have been planted by some new villain who wants my powers erased, you have to admit we've faced weirder things before."

"Did you drink more of your triple-double espresso before bed?"

"No why?" wally questioned

"No reason," Robin replied while checking his watch

after another moment of grumbleing M'gann stuck her head threw the doorway

"Alright Wally you can go back to bed now, he's gone."

"Uh-uh. I'm not going back in there. what if he's got family? besides Robin wants me to stay up and play video games."

"I do?" Robin asked with a yawn

M'gann smiled "I guess I finally know how to prank you on the next April fools day"

"Hey i have a solid reason for hating spiders, besides it isn't Like you don't have any simple fears, come on what is it? clowns? ghosts?"
