LEE DONG HYUCK’s Point of View

I was just sitting on the couch, watching Chenle plays a game on his phone when Renjun called me.

“Haechan. Go to Manager-Nim’s office and bring the card.” He said as soon as he goes downstairs.

I immediately stood up and gets the card on my small bag.

“Everyone, please prepare the card that I gave you. You need to bring it with you when you go to Manager’s office.” Renjun said as soon I got to go upstairs.

I am very curious for I saw Mark-Hyung’s eyes were teary when he gets back to the living room, as well as Renjun. Did Manager-Nim scold them?

Before I entered Manager-Nim’s office, I knocked at the door three times and didn’t hesitate to open the door.

The room’s walls were covered with black cloth. This isn’t new to me for we often do a Music Video analysis with this kind of background, but Am I going to do a Music Video analysis to be surrounded by black backdraft?

“Please close and lock the door, Haechan.” Manager-Nim said which I followed.

After doing his command, he lets me sit on the chair in front of him and as I am having my seat, I saw a camera on top of the table.

“I told Renjun to let you bring the card that was given to you the last time.” Manager-Nim said. “I want you to open that card and discover what’s inside.” He added.

At first, I was scared to open the card for I was thinking that I may contain something really strange.

I may sound over acting but I took a very deep sigh before opening the card, and when I got the chance to open it, I felt relieved and frustrated, as well because texts were only found on the card.

The texts were categorized by numbers. I read everything that was written and I felt a bit pain while reading.

“After reading, hand me the card.” Manager-Nim said which made me look at him.

I instantly hand him the card for I also already finished reading the written texts and when Manager-Nim got the card, he turns the camera on.

“I am going to read the texts that are written in this paper and I want you to give some statements seriously. Everything that you’re going to say will be recorded.” Manager-Nim said which made me felt a bit nervous.

I just nodded as a response and gulped.

“Okay. Haechan Lee, here comes the question. What was your opinion about the Roleplaying Activity that you’ve done?” Manager-Nim asked as he reads the first question.

“I think the Activity went good but I think I would’ve enjoyed playing with them if I acted well. I didn’t act too much for I felt awkward. I just stayed quiet the whole time and sticks to Mark-Hyung anywhere and everywhere he goes.” I answered nervously and shortly, I think.

I saw Manager-Nim nods and he reads the second written text.

“Please, describe what you have observed before you do the Roleplaying and while doing it. Also, describe each member.” Manager-Nim said.

I cleared my throat, first and then answered.

“Well, before Jeno and Jaemin went to Busan to have their schedule done, we all knew that the both of them are very responsible in terms of doing house chores and attending each members.”

“When I and Mark-Hyung got to Busan for we were also tasked to have a vacation with the Dream, Jeno and Jaemin got into a small fight and after that fight of them, there I found out how they get matured day by day.”

“I think I didn’t fulfil may role as an Aunt to Jisung and Chenle but I tried my best to give them attention and love. I just didn’t know if they felt the love that I showed.”

“For Renjun, he changed to the point that he treated Jaemin really different. May be because of the fight that Jeno and Jaemin had. He also cared for us, especially for Jeno, without us knowing the reason behind. We always call him as ‘The Third-Wheel’.”

“Mark-Hyung still acted as an older brother to us. He still guides Jeno and Jaemin on the things that they must and needs to do. He became more responsible in taking care of his younger siblings.”

“Chenle became a role model to Jisung for he teaches the younger some good things and he introduces Jisung new things each day which added the knowledge of our Maknae. Chenle shares everything to Jisung, and even to us. I really saw how he tried his best to be a very good older brother to Jisung. I am proud of that child.”

“Jisung became responsible day by day when we were doing the Roleplaying. Jeno and Jaemin really took care of the younger members which had a very good outcome. Jisung learned how to arrange things, to manage his time. I hope he can apply those things that he learned.”

“I want to add more about Jeno and Jaemin. Is it okay?” I asked Manager-Nim for I still want to describe the two members.

Manager-Nim just nodded as a response and I let out a sigh before speaking again.

“During the game, Jeno and Jaemin got closer to each other, gave us all their time, played with us, cook for us and did everything just for the other members not to get tired. “

“As days pass by… I mean as the last day of the game gets closer, it is also the time where we saw the revolution of Jeno and Jaemin’s feelings for each other. Unfortunately, on the last day and last night of our activity, the guys didn’t have the courage and time to confess their feelings for each other. May be that’s the main reason why the both of them cried so much last night.”

“I didn’t even show my care so much to the other members, which I regret so much. I just enjoyed watching them being happy, playing with each other, sharing some jokes to us.” I think this is the reason why Mark-Hyung and Renjun's eyes were teary. It's a bit painful but I need to endure the pain and hold back my tears.

“I am very thankful that the game happened.” I said lastly as I shook my head and smiled.

“I didn’t expect that you will say those kind of things.” Manager said which made me look at him.

He was turning the camera off.

“You also have changed, Haechan.” Manager said again which made me clueless. “You can now go, and call Chenle.” He added.

I stood up, still clueless. I bowed to Manager-Nim and left the room.

I immediately went downstairs and went to the living room to call Chenle.

  “Chenle-ah. It’s your turn.”
