~~ prolog~~~~Ashely looked at her reflection in the mirror and laughed. Her five-year-old body slid the mirror and hid inside. it was a wardrobe, designed to look like a mirror. She then began to slide it back, before yelling,
"Come and find me!"
She then closed the mirror completely. She fell back threw some of her parents clothing on to the wall and sat on boxes of her mothers favourite shoes. Not that the five-year-old cared.
She then heard footsteps running up the stairs, and onto the landing. She held onto some giggles that were forming.
Ashely was so proud of her hiding spot, she thought she would never be found. After 20 mins of searching for Ashely, he gave up. Ashely, with her short 5-year-old tension spam, had decided to open all of her mother shoes boxes, and of course, leave the shoes in a heap of a mess. Ashely left her parents room, in a heaping mess, and saw her best friend sitting on the stairs, board. With a devil smile, Ashely snuck upon him.
"boo!" she yelled. He almost fell down the stairs, in such a fright.
"Not funny Ashley!" He shouted, his baby blue eyes in a frown. The six-year-old continued to pout in anger.
Five-year-old Ashely just laughter her head off at the boy, causing him to have a temper. Ashely skipped away, and came back, holding a sugary treat.
"I'm sorry." She said softly.
"Have my cookie?" She asked in an innocent voice. She held a large smarties mega cookie, nobody just gave them away! He was hesitant to take the cookie, but then his chubby tiny fingers grasped on to the cookie, and began to eat it slowly. Turning away from Ashely. Ashely just stood there numbly. To her surprise, he turned around facing Ashely, and broke apart of what was left of the cookie, he then handed it to Ashely.
"best friends?" he asked.
"Best friends," Ashely repeated, as if clarifying they were best friends.
