Ashely headed to her mothers car, opening the passenger door.
She, in her mini black heels, put her first foot in. She gracefully glided in the car, but, being a klutz, she slumped down in the seat, as she had some what lost her balance. With her long, thin, olive skinned arms, she out stretched to the wide open car door, her fingers grasped the inside of the door, latching on with her lightly coated pink nails.
She, as always being the Klutz, almost tumbled out of the car, almost dropping something.
She let out a soft giggle, nothing could wreck her mood, she was happy, tonight she was celebrating, for some one she cared about.
Her mother joined her in the car, opening her door and slamming it.
Not even her mothers abrupt, careless behaviour for her mothers own car, could stop the giddiness of happiness she felt. Her mother slid in the keys, Turing them and starting the engine.
The radio came on, bursting vibrant music.
Expressing the same happiness she felt inside, 'Tonight the moon will rise! But it'll be like the suns beating down on us! Because tonight we'll party!-'Her mother changed the song, Ashely scorned at her.
"That's, a urm,.. Different." Her mother laughed. Ashely rolled her eyes.
Ashely out stretched her arms once again, her finger tips touching the cold metal of her seatbelt. She dragged it, and clipped it in.
"ready to go?" Her mother asks sweetly.
"yeah." Ashely replied happily. Her hand held on to something close to her stomach, a small, beautifully wrapped present.
Her and her mother drove off, along the mild roads, towards Ashley's best friends house.
Playing with the charm bracelet on her wrist, Ashely thought about the night she was about to have, she was heading to her best friends celebration party, for their 17th birthday. She felt a warm station in her gut, a sentimental feeling, thinking how grown up they have become. An invisible smile was present.
The car pulled into a drive way, the wheels crashing into the gravel.
Ashelys best friend only lived ten minutes away.
The drive way was big, not that the sight was any different, Ashely always came here, it was almost like a second home. But Ashely had never seen it look so full. There was about 5 cars, a few mopeds, and a few cars parked along side of the road. Normally, there was one car, sometimes two, mostly none. And, always a bicycle. Her best friends parents both owned cars, but their dad worked out of town, and their mother ways a workaholic, she worked from 7 am to 9 pm, but sometimes even longer, and the bicycle belonged to her best friend, it was their way of transport.Ashely, flung open the door of her mothers car.
Her mother and her had been just examining the cars, wondering whom was at the party. With her black mini heels, she stepped out. Arching her boney back, and slim figure, she picked up a small clutch bag."See you dear," he mother called, they had already talked overly about safety and getting home. Ashely just waved and told her mother that she loved her, and slammed the door.
She didn't wait for her mother to drive away, she just waved and turned away, walking towards the front porch.Walking threw the drive way seemed pretty hard, proven that heels make a real struggle no matter how small the heel is. her shoes keeps sinking into the mix of stones and pebbles.
She finally made it to the front porch, she knocked and ringed the bell, incase the party was overly hectic, and nobody would here her, also it was a habit.
While she waited for the door to be answered, she looked at the plant pot that her best friends mother had tried to re grow I dyeing plant in, and it had not survived the care that Mrs. Dutch had given. Shame, she had such high expectations.
Threw the doors panelled glass windows, which had a bumpy texture and surface, Ashely could see a disoriented images of a person, whom looked as If the where about to open the door to her.
