Damien
I watch her leave as I clutch my jaw in pain.I couldn't believe I'd read the girl so wrong. I remember how as soon as I turned to look at her, I realised.
Those eyes, still aquamarine but the innocence I'd seen in them at first had completely vanished.I get up and dust myself off, why'd I have to be such an asshole? For a second, I felt like the boy I used to be. The one with the very rich mom and the massive house, the one that got all the girls he wanted, the popular one.
I stop by the grocery store on my way home, and head to the aisle with the reduced stock. Even though they'd expire in a few days, they were great for my budget.
As soon as I get home, I have a quick shower and begin to rustle up some pasta. While pouring the pasta into boiling water, I think back to the girl. Mum always told me that whenever you think of someone, it's because they're thinking of you. Is she thinking of me know.
I'm so caught up in my thoughts, I don't realise that I've poured the whole bag of pasta in. Oh well, I guess I could just give some to the beggar lady that sat outside my apartment block. She had the cutest little daughter and I could just imagine her smile when I give her the food.
As I wait for the pasta to boil, I hear a thud followed by a groan coming from my small balcony. Immediately, I grab a frying pan, laughing to myself, because I feel a little like Rapunzel.
Focus Damien! Someone's trying to break in.Slowly, I pull open the curtain that leads to the balcony, bracing myself.
"You again?" My tone comes across quite annoyed, but inside I'm relieved when I find, who it is. A violent, tiny girl is less scarier than a big, muscly burglar.
She lies in a heap on my balcony floor, her hair, which looked like it had been threaded with gold was all over the place. She stares up at me with those startled aquamarine eyes, gets up and dusts herself off as if she's done nothing wrong.
"So it's not okay to steal your purse, but it's fine to break into my house?" I say, a grin playing on my face.
"I'm not breaking in!" She declares. "I'm just..." but she's cut off by the roar of her stomach.
"Just as hungry as a pig?" I finish for her and my joke seems so hilarious to me that I double over laughing.
That is, until I feel a searing pain in my shin.

Teen Fiction'I don't want to do it, but I know what will happen if I don't.' Damien and Mia meet in a terribly cliche way (by bumping into eachother of course) but there's no spark, no love at first sight. But there is just a tad of pick-pocketing and punching...
