8-what I learned about Death

Life means everything
Until you die.
That girl you didn't get
Means a world
Until you die.
That job, that money, that fame
Means everything
Until you realize you don't own them after death.
You could be the richest
The poorest
The smartest
The stupidest
But you can't win death being the expert in either-
If life is the definition of inequality,
Then death is the definition of equality,
Because whether we like it or not,
We all die,
Regardless of time
Regardless of the way we live
Regardless of our dreams
Regardless of our deeds
Regardless of our fears.
We all will die.
If life makes you feel like God,
Then death makes you feel like human.
That's why
Always remember death
So that you'll always remember
How to be authentic
Or at least
Be the person you won't regret being.
