CITY INVASION: A Minecraft Story.

Chapter-2 One bed,two sleepers

Nightsky's PoV

It was just a few minutes walk to my house. "Come in, and don't forget to use the rug". I said opening the front door. My house wasn't big and fancy like my neighbor's whose houses are like 10miles away from my house if I'm correct or not. It was a two floor house with a basement where I keep all the stuffs I don't use often. On the first floor there is my living room along with my kitchen, and stairs leading to the second floor in which I've got my bedroom and workspace. Outside in my backyard there is a small archery range and a garage where a broken car is kept. Sometimes I just fix some repairs on it when I'm free or don't know what to do.

Anyways, Scyler entered the house and I closed the door behind him. He was looking around the house, checking if everything was still there, meanwhile I went into the kitchen to prepare dinner when suddenly I realised I had planned to go shopping to buy some food items for dinner." Ummm". I paused looking towards Scyler who was still looking around,"What?" He replied looking towards me "Can you go shopping right now? I hope you won't mind" I said out of embarrassment "Not at all, just give me the list and I'll be back as quick as I went" He said." Well okay here you go" I handed the list along with some cash to him." Okay, bye" He said heading outside.

Scyler's PoV

I was walking on the pavement of the small road until the main road didn't appear. The Mall wasn't far from where I was walking so I took out the list from my pocket and went through it." Okay, so I need to buy starch, eggs, bread, steak..." I was thinking to myself so intensely that I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there" I apologized, but the man instead of politely saying,"It's okay", He shouted at me so harshly I was feeling like to kill him right there," Can't you see?!" His voice was very deep and to be honest, a little terrifying." Sorry Sir, I'll pay more attention next time where I'm walking" I apologized politely again." You better be " Saying this he walked away.

I was angered when he was talking to me like that but I didn't show it. Anyways, I reached the shopping Mall and at once started buying the items on the list

*Time Skip*

I had all the items on the list so I headed towards the cashier. After paying for everything I headed for home.

*30 Minutes Later*

I knocked on the door and Nightsky opened it." You were a little late" He said while closing the door behind me" Well there was a bump in the way, and there were too many items on the list" I groaned," Well, since you're here today I thought you will eat alot" He replied." Haha, very funny" I said while sitting down on the couch." Call me when dinner's ready" " Okey-dokey" He replied while taking out the stuffs.

*Few Minutes Later*

"Scyler!" Nightsky shouted from the kitchen." Coming" I replied. We quickly ate what he made. I was doing the dishes while Nightsky went upstairs to arrange the beds. I was almost done when he came down and told me that," I have only one bed so I think we need to share it or one of us need to sleep on the couch tonight" "I choose the second option" I said. Hearing this he replied " Well okay, and to decide it, we'll play a game of rock, paper and scissor." " And whoever wins, he gets the bed" I replied intensely. We were keeping our papers and scissors ready. I really liked how we played childish games for decisions. " Rock, paper, scissor....." We said together. I was planning to take out paper when we will shout shoot. " Shoot!" We shouted together and I took out my paper only to lose against Nightsky's scissor " Yes, I won!" He shouted cutting my paper  into pieces " Well, okay this time you won, but tomorrow make sure there is a bed ready" I said while lying down on the couch since I didn't need a blanket." Don't worry" He reassured me while walking upstairs. I lied down on the couch making myself comfortable. "Well, tomorrow will be a long day" I thought to myself before dozing off to      sleep.

Author's note: Well it took some time  uploading this chapter😵 But I managed to finish it a little earlier than I anticipated 🤔
