' "Hey watch where your going you disease!" A wolf spat to his pack mate, glaring at the young pup who had bumped into him only moments before on accident. "Oh I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to-" "I don't want your pitty, stay away from me! You don't belong here you black little monster!" The wolf spat to the pup, cutting off her apology.
"JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
The pup was sweat up and was soon a young wolf. Thunder crackled above her as she curled up tightly, outside of the large tree that the rest of her pack mates slept beneath. Rain hissed onto the ground and she curled up tighter in the pitch blackness. "Hey are you alright?..." A soft voice spoke and she looked up to see a grey wolf with a white chest and paws. "Dusk, wake up? Are you ok?" '

I woke up with a start, bolting upright. Dawn was proding me lightly in the shoulder with his paw, looking down at me with a somewhat concerned gaze.

"You were twitching and mumbling things in your sleep again....." His gaze was soft and warm, I shook some of the melted snow off my pelt, shaking my head.

"You were having another nightmare again, weren't you....?" He questioned, Dawn's gaze was as calm as ever. I let out a sigh, feeling rather stiff. My bones ached. The fight with the two wolves known as Light and Hollow had only been a few days ago, but I could still feel some of the wounds from the skirmish.

Trying to sound confident I stated, "I'm fine, it's nothing." Dawn's ear twitched and his eyes proved that he honestly didn't believe me, but he sighed and shook his head, "alright... I'm going out to hunt for a bit..." He stated I was about to tell him that I was coming as well before he said, "Alone this time... You're still rather beat up remember? You need to rest..."

I growled, there was no use arguing with him, he wasn't much better then me right now, but I had received more damage in the fight then he did... Damn gorge...

I gave him a small nod, my tail twitching, I walked back to the nest and nestled down into the soft snow and feathers, taking a deep breath I closed my eyes, curling up into a tight ball with my tail over my nose.
