"yeah, i'm really sorry yerin, we were supposed to go out today but i have plans with my family. i'll take you out next time." my boyfriend, jake suddenly announced as we were dismissed from class.
this is the second time this week he's cancelled our dates.
"d-don't worry, w-we can go out some other time!" i exclaimed while stuttering, giving him a fake smile.
"i'm so sorry yerin." he replied back, he then gave me a quick peck on my cheeks and smiled at me, with his face literally an inch in front of mine, i smiled back and he then left the classroom, rushingly. i'll forgive him because he's cute.
then i felt someones arm wrapping around my neck, resting on my shoulder, from behind, i look to see sunoo.
"where did jake go? weren't you supposed to go out today?" he asked, while pouting.
"he's got plans." i sadly answered back.
"again?" i heard from behind, without having to look back i knew it was yujin.
"yeah." i upsettingly answered again.
"hey, how about we go skating?" i heard another voice behind, belonging to wonyoung.
"no! we're going to look like idiots if we go with you, you're a figure skater wonyoung." sunoo exclaimed instantly after wonyoung's request.
wonyoung then walked towards sunoo and pleaded, "please, please, please, i'll do your homework for you."
"fine," he happily announced, "yujin can you come?"
"of course, i don't have academy today!" she happily exclaimed, then everyone stared at me, i then gave a playful smile.
"let's go!" i exclaimed, i started to skip out of the class, skipping through the hallway, as sunoo, wonyoung and yujin followed.
these three are my best friends. we've been friends since we were 13, as we went to the same middle school and we managed to get into the same high school too, luckily.
we exited school, on our way to the ice rink, which was only a ten minute walk from school.
"hey, what if i trip on the ice." sunoo starts to panic.
"serves you right for copying my test." yujin exclaimed.
"hey! yerin copied you too!" sunoo exclaimed back, defending himself.
