"There's a story behind every person, there's a reason they are the way they are. They aren't just like that because they want to be. Something in the past created them. And sometimes, it's impossible to fix. Yet sometimes....someone doesn't need to be fixed. Sometimes a person just needs to be loved, celebrated, and enjoyed for who they really are". The moment I woke up the first sound I heard was a annoying little alarm clock sitting on the nightstand next to my bed, it was practically screaming get up and get ready for school. I quickly turned the alarm off, I stretch and quickly put on my school uniform. Well another day I had to get my sleep interrupted for school. Then I head over to the kitchen to see what's for breakfast it smells good. I sit at the table and my dad serves me a plate of bacon, toast, and eggs. Once I finish my food I wash my dish and go over to brush and floss my teeth. I then tidy up my hair, I finished doing my daily routine today so I go over to sit down on the couch to watch some TV.My dad was watching news about vampires I hate vampires I wish they didn't even exist. By the time this new type of living thing existed people were afraid of them so they started killing them off. But then someone gave them a right to live since they weren't a true threat and there numbers started to shrink. So there were hospitals kind enough to have people donate blood but some of them still kill humans just because they like their blood fresh from them, but only vampires over twenty would try this due to the fact that the younger ones fangs grow sharper and they aren't mature enough to not go attacking others. There are lots of other people that don't like them either. Vampires aren't like the ones in movies they are very human-like they can even eat normal food but when they eat it its like they are eating air.
The only reason I know this much about them is because someone I used to know talked on and on about them they really pissed me off. but I just want to go to school now "I'm going to school now dad.""Alright just be careful there are vampire attacks near your school.""Yes I understand", I then get up from the couch to get upstairs and get my backpack and head out the door to walk to school. As I walk down the sidewalk I hear a familiar voice call out to me. "Hey Matthew wait for me", said the loud and cheerful girl. "Oh hi Kaily", I said in return as she tried to catch her breath like she had been running for a while.
This is my childhood best friend we had known each other since we were six and ever since mom passed away she would try her best to cheer me up. I still remember it like it was yesterday she came to knocking on the front door to retrieve her ball that went over the fence to my backyard. We would hang out together ever since then. "So did you finish your essay for language arts?""Ya it didn't seem too difficult", seriously this girl is just so basic sometimes. "Really because I think I did pretty bad", as we continued to talk until we entered the school. Eventually we meet up with everyone in our main friend group and hang out for a bit until the bell rings.
I hate that dreadful sound more than my alarm clock back home and that thing is loud. One of my friends then greets me in line as we wait for the teacher. "Hey Matthew", "hi", I respond. "Did you hear about the new student?""No who are they and are they a boy or a girl?""It's boy and he is the black haired boy who has one eye covered with his bangs with the emerald green streaks." He then points to the person and he stares at me and my friend. "You know its rude to point at people", he says with a scary look in his eye. "Right sorry, dam he's scary", "Ya." He also has pale skin and is wearing a face mask, but why does he have some sort of disease.
Soon the teacher comes to let us in the classroom. "Good morning everyone we have a new student with us today this is Jayden would anyone like to volunteer to show him around the school?" As soon as she finished speaking most of the class had shot their hands up. "Alright Taylor you can show him around the school." Overall Jayden didn't look like he even cared or was just shy. "Anyway class turn to page 238 the story is called the small house on the hill." After what felt like an eternity class was over and I head over to history class.
Since I am quite popular I have friends in all my classes I am also a very well behaved person. I walked inside the classroom and another painful class to sit through was about to take place. "Okay everyone you will use your time to finish your packets just make sure your quiet." Like always one stupid person asks "can we listen to music on our phones?" And like always she says no, I mean come on is it that hard to listen to instructions? Then we all are forced to listen to the trashy music that she plays on her computer while some of us try to work and some copy other's work.
After a good long while the bell rings and the teacher dismisses us. I then get out of the classroom happy i'm out of there and head over to a lunch table where a group of my friends is sitting at. "oh hi we were just talking about that vampire on the news this morning.""Oh what was it about I didn't really watch it.""Well it was about one of those bastards attacking a child on their way home from school.""I wish those things just didn't exist then we wouldn't have these problems." After I had said that I spotted Jayden at the table behind the one me and my friend's were sitting at.
The table that he was sitting at was close to empty he looked so sad and lonely so I decided to go over and say hi but then Kaily asked me something. "So what do you think?""Huh I wasn't listening sorry", She looked annoyed that she had to repeat herself. "I said what do you think is better anime or manga?""Hmm manga I guess." She then went up to the person she was arguing with and they just continued until the bell rang, that was such a meaning less argument. Me and Kaily both had science class next so we walked there together. "Did you see the new student today yet?""Ya he seems like a decent person", I answered reluctantly. "Oh because I think he is just another problem in this school just waiting to happen.""You know that is an extremely rude thing to say.""Ya and I know you want to think he is a good person but I just don't think he is one of those people."
Although he was a bit scary this morning and doesn't seem approachable there is another side to him, the fact that he seems lonely and shy. I honestly just don't want people to feel left out for lots of people it can be hard to make friends to I want to help him if he can't make a friend by the end of today. Soon everyone enters the classroom if anything I like this class more than some because we get to eat in class and work with whoever we want. I enjoy having a more laid back teacher. "So this assignment will be due on Wednesday so go ahead and work with whoever you want.""Then most of the class went to work some people just chatting or actually doing their work while the teacher sat behind his desk on his computer.
To everyone's expectations the bell rang telling everyone to head to their next class. I went over to my next class which was my elective structural engineering. I was a bit late but all I needed to do for that class was take notes for tomorrow's project. Before I knew it the bell rang for lunch so I went over to the same spot we were at earlier. Jayden was by himself again I wanted to invite him over but I just so happened to be dragged by my friends just to watch some new anime one of them had found so I just sat there and watched it. Then the bell rang again, "so do you guys want to watch some more tomorrow.""Why not", I say sarcastically knowing I at least wanted to help Jayden so he wouldn't be lonely.
Just two more classes to go, sadly enough these were the ones I just didn't want to do. I just want to go home and sleep disappointed as is I go to P.E. class. Today we just had to do push-ups, sit-ups, and then we had free time, free time is normally my favorite because we would sit behind the handball court so the teacher wouldn't see me or my friends. This time the teacher stood facing us and we were forced to play he probably knew we were doing this and was now punishing us. By the time the next bell rang I was exhausted I walked over to grab my backpack and went to math class. Finally last class ugh i'd rather die than be here regardless I entered anyway.
The teacher joy-fully speaks through the lesson trying to make it fun and full of spirit. The only thing I did was sleep through the class since I just had P.E. I was lucky I didn't get called on. Just when my nap finished I heard the last bell of the day ring i'm so relived. I tiredly walked past the lunch tables to the gate, then my phone made a sound someone had texted me. I saw it was Kaily she wanted to know why I seemed so worried during break and lunch so I told her it was nothing. The two of us continued to argue over the phone but as I walked past the gate I hit someone or something, dropping my phone to the ground.
