The next day I wake up to my alarm clock, I wish I didn't need the stupid thing. After a few seconds I get up and get dressed to head down for breakfast. This time I get my dad's pancakes I proceed to get honey to glaze my pancakes they are delicious as always. Within my routine I brush my teeth and comb my hair. I'll decide to leave early today, " bye dad I am heading off to school." "All right and make sure to watch out for vampires there were some near that area", I reply with a "I know" and open the front door to leave. I get out of the house soon greeted by Kaily.

"Hello I didn't expect to see you this early in the morning", she says cheerfully. "Yeah well you could say Mondays aren't always the best." "Hey have you had any odd dreams lately", I suppose Kaily has always been interested in dreams and their meaning so this question isn't that abnormal. "Well I had a dream where I was in a pearly white room and I heard a voice telling me to be careful around people, that some aren't always what they appear to be." She then looks at me with a concerned face, "woah that sounds scary but kind of cool." "So how about you have you had an interesting dream?"

"Well sadly I don't remember mine", huh and here I was hoping I could hear her dream. We walked in silence for a while until the innocent girl brought up another conversation. "Have you ever wondered what relationships between humans and vampires are like?", I only had confusion left I never did think that humans and vampires could have that sort of relationship after all they seemed too different to me. "I can only guess a bunch of manipulation to be involved, after all if they were in a relationship with a human they could just use that vessel to their liking correct. "You are such a killjoy sometimes, open up more possibilities after all anyone can have a choice to have that kind of relationship I'm sure there has to be one that at least works out."

"I suppose, even so I can only think about the type of problems could happen especially in a world like this", Kaily gently nodded her head as to agree. We soon arrived to the school due to it not being that far away from our homes, soon we met with our friend group and chatted for a while until the bell rang in a annoying manner. I then walk over to the line in order to enter the classroom and went to Jayden to talk to him. Once I had made this action my other friend cris made a what are you doing face at me. Ignoring the eye contact he was giving me I asked kindly, "so how are you today Jayden." "I'm doing fine how about you", I smiled replying with, "I'm great."

After a bit of waiting for the teacher, they come over to open the door in order to let us all inside the classroom. Everyone takes out their books and starts reading for about 20 minutes. After the time had passed everyone puts their books away in order to start work as the teacher instructed. She states that the work can be done on our iPads and gives us a example to work with. She is one of the kindest teachers I have ever had, after a while I finish the work happy that I won't have homework. By the time the bell rang I got up from my seat and went over to my next class.

Before I knew it I was there sitting in the next classroom, moments later the lesson started. The teacher kept talking on and on about something we were supposed to be learning but the whole time I was just spacing out. I figured that I could just do the work later and so I figured I would go to the restroom to get a break from the class. I raised my hand and I was allowed to go, afterwards I got up from my seat and started heading to my destination. I planned to just sit there and play on my phone, but when I got there I didn't expect to see what I did. Jayden was sitting on the ground of a bathroom stall crying, the moment I got close he quickly pulled down his sleeve.

"Do you want to talk about it?", I asked calmly while getting him some paper towels to blow his nose. "I really don't feel like doing so but I would like your company", I sat down beside him. "You know it's ok to cry better to let it out then keep it inside it will only hurt you more if you do that", he gave me a gentle hug and I hugged him back I will comforting him if he ever needs it. "I have had a lot of things on my mind lately you being here is reassuring though", for some reason I started crying too he reminded me about dad after we lost mom we thought it was over for us. "I get it, not everyone has it easy sorry if I'm being a downer crying as well."

"It is alright after all not everyone is perfect being with you at the moment is better than being alone, if you don't mind could I ask what is troubling you?" I was hesitant at first but I know I can trust him, "well I lost my mom when I was little so it has been difficult since then." "I'm sorry to hear that I bet she was a wonderful person I wish I could have met her", hearing those words meant a lot even though I haven't known him too long that was all I needed was this at the moment. "As for myself I haven't had the easiest home life or school life as a matter of fact." "Do you have siblings?", I asked guessing that was the problem. "As a matter of fact I am adopted but I do have a older sister and a baby brother."

"I wonder if you will leave me like everyone else did, when they found out about my secret", he gripped onto me tightly. "I won't leave you no matter what that is a promise", he shook his head in disbelief resting it on my shoulder, whatever this secret that he had was I wasn't going to leave him for it. "Kaily will probably be mad for me skipping classes", I chuckled. "Is she the black haired girl you walk to school with?" "Yup, she is really nice so I think you will get along well." "It feels like I used to know her somewhere before but I can't remember, maybe it's just my imagination."

She has never talked about someone that looked like Jayden so I don't think it is likely. Moments later the bell rang I started to get up but Jayden quickly stopped me grabbing my sleeve so I looked back at him, "please don't go." My cheeks felt hot and I think I am blushing, "I suppose I will stay after all I will just be missing my break so I should be fine." I sat back down next to him he seemed to be happy that I stayed. "When I first came to this school I thought I would have to transfer again once the school found out my secret but surprisingly they were welcoming to it, I felt like this was a place where I belonged." "I'm happy you feel that way this is a caring school after all it watches over all it's students."

"How do you feel about vampires?" "I hate them those beasts can go to hell for all I care", how can I except those thing if all they are going to do is drinking me dry. "I'm curious, why do you hate them so much?" "They killed my mom right in front of me and then left as if they were satisfied with what they did, I can't forgive such heartless beings." "I see, but surly they can't all be the same right", I can't let go of my hatred for them but even so... . "They would have to prove that they aren't like the rest then maybe I would accept them."
