blood moon's blessing (original story)

Chapter 4 (part 1)

     "What job do your parents have?", I spoke not knowing what I should say next. "I honestly don't know what my parents do for a living I never cared. How about you though." Should I tell him what my dad does, I'm not sure then again I have a feeling he can't be a person that would betray me. "You can't tell anybody about this alright", he had a confused look but agreed anyway. "My father started a illegal  company that kills vampires he has quite a few people working for him actually and it pays good so I really have no complaints."

     "Well that sure is a interesting job to say the least", he said surprised overall. "In a scenario where you were to be tricked into letting a vampire into your home what would happen then?" "My father would probably either kill them or let them off with a warning but if I were to be bit the vampire would be dead meat." Jayden looked extremely bewildered and scared to much so to speak another word if he were also to have to see that site as many times as I have I would understand. "Class will be starting again we better hurry before the teacher in the next class gets mad at us", I said right after the bell rang. So we both got up to leave the bathroom, onwards to go to the next class.

     I couldn't believe we sat though second period our teachers were bound to be pissed at us for that. Kaily will be the most upset due to the fact she knows I am a model student and will think I'm going rogue for once. I suppose being with him was more interesting than being in class after all I don't need the lesson much in order to figure out what to do. As I walked up to the class Kaily waited there patiently and started to pout the moment she saw me. "Hey where were you? Why weren't you at break?", she asked hastily while dragging me into the classroom. 

     "I'm so sorry the teacher held me back because I had problems with the work I was given", that is such a dumb excuse after all she knows I never have that sort of problem. "Alright I guess", I could tell she was hesitant to believe that stupid lie. We both sit down at our designated seats and write down the notes the teacher gives us. After a while of silence I had finished the work with not much of a problem. By the next moment kaily sneaks up to me but was unsuccessful in catching me off guard, somehow I just expected it. After that sequence of events she began to beg me to let her copy off my homework.

     "You can just do the work by yourself I can also help, you don't need to copy", kaily ended up getting angry at me again. "Maybe if you let me copy off your homework I will forgive you for ditching me", great now she is using that against me, I guess she will get her way this time. "Fine here", I roll my eyes annoyed while she cheers with joy. The next bell rings saying it's time for the next period. We get our things, kaily speaks in a joke-full manor "make sure not to ditch me again ok." She puts her fist to my head and messes up my hair in the process, "yes I know it won't happen again", We say our goodbyes and get to our next class.
