Wouldn't you want to know what exactly earns your book a good review?

Well here's the criteria ¬¬

Cover:
A good cover is a way to draw in the audience. It should be interesting enough to lure the readers and to give them a little taste of what the book is about. It matters a lot.

Synopsis :
A Synopsis, or book summary, is a short description which gives readers an insight to your book and would urge them to try your book out. Let's say the reader likes the cover, and is interested. Now they want to know what the book is about. The Synopsis is just as important as the cover. Let's now say the cover is... Not so good... Amateurish... The reader might want to give the book a chance and go ahead to read the Synopsis. It is so important that even if the cover is amazing, if the Synopsis doesn't back it up, you may as well loose the reader.

Story Plot :
The story plot of your book, of course, matters a lot. It is the basis of the story which you will build your book on.

Plot development/Sticking to the Synopsis :
I will be looking at how you develop your plot and how well you do so. Plus, I'll also be looking at how well you follow the Synopsis. Cause it would be pretty disappointing for a reader to read something in the Synopsis and find another thing in the book.

Grammar:
Now we're all human, we tend to make mistakes. Especially if you're rushing, while writing a chapter. Which is why it's advisable, to edit a chapter when you're done. Yes, you might be tired or you might forget. In a case like that, I advise you to inform your readers that the chapter is unedited. Cause as much as the readers know that we all make mistakes and you might have been tired, it could get tiring, reading a book and constantly seeing errors.

Description :
The words you use to describe certain things and the way you put them matters a lot. When your readers are reading your book, they rely on your descriptions to help them paint a picture of the scenario in their heads. Which is why it is if  essence.

Character Development :
If you describe a character a certain way, it matters that your readers are able to detect the character traits and agree with your description. The way you develop your characters matters a lot.

And that would be all.
