chapter 14 - the siren

Philippines POV

I stood from the sand as soon as china started walking away, I just wanted some peace.... I looked at the sun who is slowly dissapearing as the waves calm.

I then saw something sharp hidden from the sand and I grabed it examining it's design, I then accidentally cut myself as I hiss from the pain, my blood dripped from the salt water.

I licked my finger and hid the sharp object inside my dress pocket, it was getting late so I headed back carrying my sandals with me.

(Time skip)

Now i'm here standing to three countries arguing to where I should sleep,china slept in his ship near the shore which we all agreed. I dusted myself and sat down to one of the chairs, I could just sleep on the floor...I mean it's more comfortable and I like how cold it is..

I yawned and they still didn't notice and kept arguing, I placed my arm on the table as my pillow as I slowly closed my eyes, as I drifted to sleep.

Spain's POV

I noticed that philia was fast asleep and the two idiots just kept arguing, I then thought about something and I don't know if it's stupid or not.

"Look guys how about we all sleep in the guest room with philia? And she's already asleep" I said as they looked at me then to philia, ugh idiots.

"Ohhh! More like a sleepover?!" Japan exclaimed as he started to give us that puppy eyes, I just nodded and america just said 'sure' .

I carried philia in my arms and ofcourse I don't want to wake her up from her beauty sleep. The maids fixed the guest room as I placed philia in the bed, I know it's kinda weird but I gently grabed her hair smelling it, it smells like lavender..it's very soothing...

"Oy! Stop that" america growled as he threw a pillow on my face, I glared at him as I threw the pillow back.

"Ho ho?~ Don't do pillow fight without me!" Japan said as he grabe two pillows throwing it to ame and to my face, oh it's on.

(Time skip)

Philippines POV

I slightly moved as I felt hands tugging me, I looked at spain who was hugging me from beside and america infront. Japan was under my feet snuggling my thighs, so that's why I can't move-

I tried not to wake them up but then spain flutter his eyes open as he yawned, I just smiled and he seemed to notice that I can't move.

He grabbed America's hand and threw it to the other side, ame didn't mind becuase they were deep asleep, and for japan spain kicked him as he woke up, oh no-

"You baka! Why the hell did you kicked me?!" Japan growled as spain just rolled his eyes.

"You pervert, stop hugging philia's thighs, bastard" spain scoffed as he kicked japan ahain but this time in the face, I quickly told them to stop and they did what I said.

"Where are you going philia?" Japan asked.

"I'm just going to get some fresh air.. I'll come back don't worry" I said as I grabbed my sandal putting it on and went out.

I heared the sirens again and this time I stopped my tracks and can't hardly breathe, it's like I'm being suffocated, I started to undress and threw my dress in the sand with my sandals as I jumped through the water, it was too late i'm already formed as a siren...

What will I do now?! I can't go back like this!

Should they know..? What if they tried to hurt me?? I can't fully trust them...my father once told m never trust anyone other than my family.. I started to panic, I should trust them, I have too, I'll just tell them to kee p it as a secret...right? Will this work out...?

I pulled myself up as I went to the shore, I'm no longer the human they know....will they abandon me? They probably would since they're only attractive to my human form..

"Philia...?" Spain was looking at me, I can't really tell if he's confuse or worried, but looks like I can't hide this anymore..

"I'm sorry spain, I just- I-" I started crying but there were no tears, I tried to stay as human but I can't, I'm weak. I'm not like my brothers, I'm not strong, I just wanted to die with them, I just-

Spain goes toward me as he grabed me bridal style, I looked at him really confuse and I can't talk normal.

"Look, I don't know what's your story but I would never abandon you in situations like this." With that I stared at the void as his words echoes in my mind.

Japan's POV

I was just arranging some books in the shelves when I saw spain carrying someone, wait a siren?! Hold up- i-it's philia?!

"Spain! What happened?!" I said my eyes glued to philia.

"No time to explaine we need to get her to the bath tub, she can't just swim outside, it's dangerous and she might get caught" spain said sternly.

I just nodded still shock, I ran back to america who was sleeping peacefully, I kicked him as he groaned.

"Wake up dumbass!" I said as he looked at me half asleep.

"It's about philia" I said and he jolted from his position looking at me with concern.

"What about her?!"

"Just come with me!"

[Time skip]

"No fucking way..." america cursed.

"Yes fucking way" spain replied, america glared at him before looking at philia.

"Please, I'm begging you three to never tell anyone about it, especially you spain" philia begged.

I just stood there, shock, speechless and bewildered...

"Looks like there's no point of hiding....I'm sorry if I kept this to myself.." philia added fidgeting her fingers while looking down.

"It's fine, we promise to keep this secret." Spain spoked.

America looked at him and pulled him outside, looks like they're arguing again....

I just looked away while thinking life choices...

"Japan..?" Philia said with her usual angelic voice, I slowly looked at her feeling pity, wait why do I feel pity?

"I'm sorry if you have to witness this.." she said apologizing, I walked closer to her and kneeled down to her height, I grabed both of her shoulders and she was taken aback but still kept her posture.

"It's fine philia, even if you look like this, we'll never abandon you. I also have a confession to make...." I said lowering my hands as my face starts heating up.

"Hm? What is it japan?" She said tilting her head.

"I.."

"I love you"
