Chapter 3- Rivals

Philippines POV

"What took you so long philia?" Kuya martial called as he was getting worried

"Sorry kuya...it's just that I saw more pearls and I tried getting it but it was too hard to get" I lied.

"Hm..alright, let's roam for abit" kuya martial didn't think twice of questioning me.

Then suddenly I felt another shiver down me and a scene flashes to my mind

"K-kuya!" It was more like a yell, I was getting scared, it's happening again, I don't like it.

My brother looked at me and he widen his eyes as he saw me with such sorrow face, mermaids don't produce tears they only look with such sorrow or what they call sadness.

"W-what...what happened?" My brother said as he was holding both of my shoulder.

"Mom...dad.." I said with bitterness.

"What the hell happened?!" He yelled at me then suddenly swam fast going to our home, brother!

I swam fast to catch up with my brother but he was too fast. Everything that flashes in my mind will definitely happened, I already had many fights with mama and papa but I just can't hide this right now, it seems so...true. and I'm not letting it happen.

Martial's POV

"No this isn't right godammit!!" I said to myself, as i swam faster, please be not true please please please, oh God...

No...

I was already late, my mom...my dad...a-and kuya del....(gregorio)

"Go and run martial!!! Save philia!!" Kuya del shouted as the other war mermaids noticed. N-no!

"Kuya del?!" Philia called as the war mermaids tried to capture me and philia.

I won't let them get her!! I pushed philia away as they tried to stab her.

"Martial!!"

"Kuya martial!!"

No..no..I-i won't....leave...you...phi...lia...

Philippines POV

"Kuya!!" I shouted as I tried to control the sadness and anger filling my chest, my brother..mom...dad...kuya...please don't leave me..

"Run away philia!!" Kuya gregorio shouted as I only stared at him with sadness in my eyes. No kuya..

"Goddammit philia!! Just run!! I don't wanna lose you--" one of the war mermaids stabbed him at the back of his neck that made me scream from the top of my lungs.

They suddebly turned towards me and the other mermaid spoke.

"Just give up and we'll finish our job here" the mermaid smiled as I was useless and  stupid at this moment.

I was feeling dizzy and I can't control my eye lids as I collapse in an instant. I let my gurad down..

"Hey" someone called.

"Yes?" I answered.

"Are you just going to be like that without giving a fight?"
