I am sorry if I offend you but, I don't really like BOTDF. I know I might get shit that I am a hater, and Dahvie says haters make me famous. I have to stress this now haters don't make you famous they make you imfamous. Look it up.
I also have to say I give them a chance and they, they didn't do it for me. I don't have a problem with explicit lyrics at all. The thing I don't like is that they take themselves seriously with their lyrics that they have written. Lil Wayne has explicit lyrics as well, but no one take him seriously at all with his lyrics. Google some of them.
Another thing I don't like, the fan base. I have met very little fans of them that are over the age of 18, which I say SHOULD be the age requirement for their lyrics. The lowest would have to be 16. I am actually quite scarred because of them. I feel quite unclean because of them. I know people who are younger than me that say Dahvie is so HOT!. I wish he would fuck me! I would just stare at them like they were crazy, because they are. I mean they are eleven, only three years younger that me and they want to have sex. When I was 11 I was really conservitive and never even thought about romantic stuff. I was to busy watching cartoons, drawing pictures, and playing outside to worry about sex. Heck! I didn't even know what sex was. My mom was a good mom. I think the reason those kids are like that because they have crappy parents who don't give a shit what their kids do and those kids become fuck ups. I am not saying all fans are. I know a girl, she is scene, she is 17 and she is the most cheerful girl I have ever met. She loves life and had alot of spunk, but her friends are depressing emos who hate themselves and says life suck and nothing you can say can bring them out of it. They think life is so bad and if you want to take your life, like one of them did, don't. You have so much to live for. Life is what you make it and if you make it dreary and sucky, it will be dreary and sucky. Mae it wonderful. Stop hurting and killing yourself, because it hurts and kills your love ones emotionally if you do. Okay any way I am getting off topic.
Any way, to summerize, I don't like like BOTDF I gave it a try and they have a lot of faults which I might do on another rant on later later on them later.
