Monopoly: Part 30

Ava requests to play a game and Thomas grabs Monopoly. I smirk knowing that it's not just a game with luck but it also has strategy.

During the game:

I need one more red and then I'll have all three red. Thomas rolls and he lands on the red I need.

"Oh would you look at that!" He exclaims.

I glare at him from across the table since he is sitting in front of me and say menacingly "If you buy-" before I could finish he hands his money over to his dad who is the banker.

I gasp and he grabs the card and smirks at me. His family laughs as I stare at him with anger. His smirk grows and he says sarcastically "Oh I'm so sorry did you want this" he fiddles with the card as he holds it up.

I glare at him and he hands the dice over to Ava then she rolls and she lands in jail. Ava groans and we all laugh then she hands the dice to me.

I roll and land on an orange I look and see Thomas has all the orange except this one. A smirk rises on my face. I look at Thomas and without breaking eye contact with Thomas I raise an eyebrow and hand Mark/Mr. Sangster my money.

Thomas' mouth opens in shock. He looks at me baffled and lightly shakes his head.

"Karrrrmaaaa" I say making all of them laugh except Thomas. Then I add mocking him as I show off my new card "Oh I'm sorry did you, did you want this? Oh well that must suck"

Ava, Tasha and Mark laugh as I speak.

Then I add "Cause It's mine" I add it to my collection of cards.

"Oh it's on!" Thomas exclaims.

"You're going down Thomas" I say.

"I've only lost Monopoly to one person in my life" he says proudly.

Mark coughs and says "Me"

Then I say sternly as I lean across the table looking Thomas dead in the eyes "Prepare to make it two"

Later:

Ava just got bankrupted by me and I got everything she owned. Ava owned all of the train tracks and a few other cards.

I still have Thomas' orange he needs and he still has my red. Tasha is close to being bankrupted. Mark still has lots of money.

I grab the dice and sigh and roll them.

"Five! Five! Five!" Thomas exclaims since I would land on his land if I got a five.

"Ha!" I say as I roll a six.

"That was really close" I add as I move my piece. I land on my own property. Before I end my turn I put more houses on my land.

I own a whole corner of the board. I hand the dice to Tasha and she rolls. She moves her piece and lands on my land.

"Oooh you just landed in Kylie corner!" Thomas says to his mom.

We all laugh at him. Tasha tries to figure out a way to stay in the game but she goes bankrupt because of me.

I make an evil giggle as she hands me her stuff. "Wow Kylie no mercy huh?" Mark says.

"There's no mercy in Monopoly" I say making all of them laugh.

The dice quickly makes its way to Thomas after he rolled he said "Kylie I would like to trade"

"I'm all ears" I tell him as I fold my hands on the table. I look at him and say "Go on"

They all laugh except me and Thomas.

He slides the red card over to me, I watch as he slides across the table.
