Armani's POV
After dropping off Reila, I quietly disappear into the woods behind a tree as Kaleb kisses Reila on the cheek as I asked. She then looks up at me behind the tree and I give her a cheeky smile. Right before she turns away I caught her lips curling up into a smile and heard her soft chuckle. As she enters her home, I run through the woods, back into the town. I'm gonna visit her tomorrow. Hope she doesn't mind. I know I just met her, but I feel like I have to have her around. My demon half tells me to not let her go. He screams a word that sounds like 'mate'. Wait... is she... is she my mate?!
Reila's POV
I retreat to my house with a smirk on my face. I don't understand it. I feel like I'm on cloud 9 around him. He pisses me off but I feel so light and airy around him. Like I'm weightless. Like a balloon. I need to know why. Why do I feel different with him? Never-mind. I can't think like this. Not now. Plus, I just met the guy.
