Chapter Four

 Reila's point of view

We neared the cabin where we lived when he stopped and asked, " This is where you live?"           I rolled my eyes and sarcastically remarked, " No. A baboon lives here. What do you think?!"

" No, no, no. I didn't mean that in a rude way. I just think it looks really cozy... Something I'm not used too..." he trailed off and I gave him a questioning look as he looked to be recalling something in deep thought. Kaleb walked up to Armani and tugged the bottom of his lose shirt, pulling him out of his thoughts. Armani blinked a few times before registering what just happened then suggested with his hands that we should go into the house. When we were at the door, I stopped in my tracks and motioned for him to not move at all. I peeked inside hoping to the stars that she wasn't in there and thankfully, she wasn't. I went in and grabbed some bandages and a potion that cures wounds if you drink it. I gave her one drop and she was up on her feet again. The raven haired boy, Armani, was shocked at what just happened. He looked star-struck. He quickly shook it off before letting it go. He then asked, " How about we go inside?" I rapidly shook my head 'no' and he gave a... worried expression? Why? I looked in his eyes in hope to find the answer before he gave my younger brother a hug and whispered something into his ear and before I could ask what he said, he disappeared into the forest. Kaleb then ran over to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said, "Armani said, " Give Reila a kiss on the cheek for me and tell her I will visit her soon." As soon as he finished that sentence I froze as I saw Armani's smug face peek around the tree giving me a cheeky smile and although he was weird at first, he is growing on me. Doesn't mean I like him though.
