Todays The Day (Teddies Pov)

Antonio and I have been engaged for 7 months. Today was the day I picked out my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses. My maid of honor is my best friend Erin and my bridesmaids are Kim,Gabby, and Eva.

We walked into the store and a worker greeted us.
"Hi I'm Sarah, which one of you is my bride?"
"I am. My name is Teddie and these are my bridesmaids Kim, Gabby, and Eva and this is my maid of honor Erin."
"Ok how did you meet them?"
"I met Erin and Kim when I started working in the unit they were working in and we quickly became best friends. Gabby is going to be my future sister-in-law and Eva is going to be my step-daughter."
"Ok tell me about your fiancé."
"His name is Antonio and I met him when I started working with him. We became best friends and long story short now we are engaged."
Erin spoke up and said "Teddie is a detective and her fiancé only ever sees her in a bulletproof vest so she needs to look beautiful."
"Ok"Sarah laughed "Well let's get some dresses picked out then."
"Oh I also need bridesmaids dresses."
"Ok"
The first dress I came out in was a ball gown with sleeves.
"That is not your personality at all Teddie."
Erin said
"I think it's pretty but it's just not your dress." I heard from Gabby
"I agree with her." Kim added
"I agree with Aunt Gabby too." Eva added
"Ok let's do another dress then."

This time I came out in a short fitted dress with no sleeves.
Gabby,Kim, and Erin all held up signs that said no.
"What do you think Eva your opinion counts too?"
"I like it, it's pretty on you but I don't think it's you."
"Ok I have an idea." Sarah said "Why don't you four pick out a dress for Teddie."
They all nodded their heads and went to choose one."

They came back with a gorgeous gown.
I walked out there.
"That's gorgeous on you." I heard from Gabby
"That matches your personality too." Erin added
"What do you think Kim?"
"I think you look amazing in that dress."
"Ok Eva I need one last opinion."
"You look like a bride and it looks amazing on you, but do you like it Teddie?"
"I love it. I can see myself getting married in this dress."
"Teddie are you saying yes to this dress?"
"I'm saying yes to this dress." I said with a smile
"Ok now we have to pick bridesmaids dresses out." Sarah said
"Ok I'll be there in a minute. Eva come here I want to talk to you."
"What's up?"
"Are you ok with me marrying your dad?"
"I'm more than ok."
"Then why do you look so sad?"
"Because your marrying my dad but your not my real mom and I wish you were."
"What do you mean you wish I was your real mom?"
"Well my mom drinks all the time and always has guys over. She never has time for me and Diego. Even though your not my real mom whenever we are at my dads house you still find time to hang out with us and that's what I love about you."
"I'm sorry you have to go through that with your mom Eva. But know I'm gonna be around all the time so I will have time to hang out with you and Diego and I promise you that."
I gave her a hug.
"Come on let's go pick out a dress for you."
"Ok." She said with a smile on her face."
We picked out the dresses.
"Ok now we have to go cake tasting and pick out flowers." I said
"Don't you need Antonio for that?"
Kim asked
"No he said it's up to me."
"Ok"
We tasted chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, strawberry, and lemon cake. We ended up choosing red velvet.
Then we went and picked out bouquets.

"It was."
I gave Erin,Kim, and Gabby a hug and took Eva home.
