~SEDINA AT END OF LAST CHAPTER~

As Sedina slammed the door behind her, tears flowed.

"I love you Sedina."

She heard Jareth calling after her, causing her to fully break down in the hallway, but she picked herself up wearily and wobbled down to her room.

~SEDINA NOW~

The girl tossed, and turned all day, and all evening.
Attempting to think of ways she could leave the Underground without Jareth knowing.

I thought it was real. I thought that just because my feelings for him were growing that he would know and it would be a happily ever after.
Dumb, right?

Sedina stood, slightly limping, as she headed straight towards the Castle Library, headed straight to Nifty. He would Know.

~AT THE LIBRARY~

"B-but Miss! The only way you can leave the Underground is to wish it, because you wished yourself here, you'll have to wish yourself out, which means... you'll have to face King Jareth." Nifty cried out, suddenly taking a liking to Sedina.

"I can't face him. Cmon Nifty! There has to be another way! Why can't I just complete the Labyrinth like Sarah." Even saying the name, Sarah, made Sedina want to cry forever.

"W-well... you just can't go near the Labyrinth."

Sedina cried out in anger.

"Nifty, you better not be hiding something." Sedina angrily warned the little fluff ball.

Nifty awkwardly grinned, attempting to hide the fact that he was indeed hiding something.

"Nifty..." Sedina warningly stared at him again, her eyes blazing darkly with anger and pure sadness.

Images of Sarah and Jareth flooded her mind instantly.
In her mind, Jareth towered over her, deeply laughing at her, his sparkling mismatched eyes were now darkened with anger.

"You'll never be good enough. Even your own parents left you! No one loves you and no-one ever will!" Jareth bellowed at her, causing her to open her eyes and realise she was screaming in the library, Nifty stepped back, starting to get deeply worried.

Tears were flowing down her rosy puffy cheeks like a waterfall, her loud pained screams echoing around the entire Castle.

Sedina was now kneeling on the shining floor, shoulders racking with sobs.

She felt a cold hand stroke her shoulder, pulling her up and wrapping their arms around her.

Jareth.

This caused Sedina to sob even more, but she remained nestled into the Goblin King.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Sedina." Jareth had never felt such a strong love for anyone before, like he had for Sedina.

As her mind wondered, she thought of Jareth's sincere shouts after her. How he always came after her when she ran from her fears. But her fears, were falling in love.

But, he had broken her trust.

She pulled away from the King.

'YOU'LL NEVER BE LOVED'
'DIE!'
'UGLY LITTLE RAT'
'YOU DON'T MATTER TO ANYONE'
'NO WONDER YOUR PARENTS DIED'
'DIE ALREADY'
'FANTASY LIVING BITCH'

Every single word she has ever been called echoed in her head.

Her head banged heavier with pain, pure pain.
Black dots started to blind her vision,

The last thing she had heard was Jareth shouting after her,

"SEDINA! SEDINA PLEASE!"

I'm an idiot.
I love you Jareth

And with that, Sedina became unconscious.
