Lola's P.O.V.:

___________________

I was jerked awake.

Surprising me from my sleep.

I didn't know I fell asleep on the train.

Or rather how long I slept for.

'Shoot!!!Did I miss my stop.,' I panic inside my mind as I get up to the doors.I try to place my hat back on.

I see the male conductor walk by.

"Uhmmm...Excuse me.," I asked softy.

"Yes,... ma'am?," he turn around to see me as he put a fake smile I know to well of.

'Obviously expecting a much better looking person than me...,' I thought as I try not to roll me eyes at him.

"When will the train get to Holiville?," I asked when I remember the ticket saying the small town name.

The man took out his watch as I read his name tag.

'Joe...,' I read his name.

" It's 08:55. In about 5 minutes miss.,"He said as he walks away from me.

"Thank you Joe.,"I said softy when he walks away.

I close the doors behind me.

'I'm just happy the boy left before I woke up.' I thought.

I shack my head at that thought.

I grab my suitcase and put it on my lap.

I got off the train as I waited for a taxi in front of the entrance.

That was an hour ago.

None came.

I went back in only to find out that I have to walk into town.

Ten minutes into my walk I stop in front of a small gas station.

The little bells rings softy above me.I loosened my hat a bit.

"Why, Hello, there sugar.," Said a sweet female voice.

I turn to the counter that had a sign on top.

'Cashier'

I look at the woman that stood in a open glass window case.

Her Light grey hair was in a tight neat  bun,her light blue eyes shine in the dime light, and her wrinkles showed how old she is.

She was wearing a light blue button shirt that made her light blue eyes stand out,and a small navy vest that showed a plump body it has a name tag.

Mary.

She was quite old but she looks to be nice.

"Hello...,"I said as walk in closer to the counter.

"What brings you to our small town of Holiville stranger?," Mary ask happily her smile was a bit contagious.

"My name is Lola. It's nice meeting you Mary,"I said.

I was about to countries to her but I  refrain from doing so.

I stand there in silence as I lose my smile.

Mary barks a laughter after a few minutes of awkward silence nearly scaring me out of my skin.

"Oh my... I haven't laughed like that in a long time.," She said as she whips away a small tear that escaped down her cheek.

In which it makes me turn away and blush in shame.

"Mary...Do you by any chance know where the route to M.A.S.A. is?," I asked politely to the old woman.

I don't want to rush the old hag but I was running a bit late and being tardy is not in my dictionary.

She don't say anything after a well just staring at me intensely.

Making me frighten a bit under her gaze.

"Did I say something wrong Mary?,"I finally asked as I shift from one foot to another.

"No...No,you didn't sugar.," Mary finally said as she snaps from her stare.

"Oh...oh okay.," I said as I bite my lower lip... an old habit of mine.

She gets up from behind the glass and comes out.

"I''ll take you there on my truck dear but the rest...You most walk on foot.,"Mary said as she stands in front of me.

"Thank you Mary.,"I bowed slightly when I stood back up I had to look up to her.

I was a bit surprised by her height.

"Don't be dear.,"She said once she was out the door I step outside once again.

She locks up the store and flips a sign.

Be back soon!

"Wait.here.,"Mary said.

I did what I was told and waited with my suitcase at hand.

A red beat up pick-up truck pulls beside me.

"Hop inside.," she said as she opens the door revealing a clean interior leather.

(A little while Later.)

Once we where near the Holiville's outer limits I felt my nerves eating me up.

We come to a stop near a dirt path that the trees beaches covered carefully.

If anybody was in car they would have passed right by.

I felt a little rush of relief but I felt I was going to die today if I turn my back to her.

She is after all a stranger.

"You take this dirt path up that hill it will lead you to a stone path to M

"You take this dirt path up that hill it will lead you to a stone path to M.A.S.A.," Mary said.

"Thanks Mary.,"I hop off the truck and grab my suitcase from the back.

"I just hope you don't get eaten by those wolves in that school...," she mumbles under her breath once I close the door.

"Excuse me? Wolves.," I said in shock.

"No,there's no wolves here dare.Just...Oh nothing dare.Just...Be careful on who you befriend on M.A.S.A...And call me if  anything happens," Mary said happily.

But I felt her smile don't come to her face.

She hands me a business card.

I take it and place it inside my suitcase.

"I''ll keep that in mind Mary.,"I said as I walk on to the dirt path.

'I just hope there's no Real wolves.,' I thought.
