sam had fallen asleep on the brunettes chest. the brunette rubbed the blondes back, cooing him.
colby heard a knock on his door.
"Yes?" colby said as the door opened, revealing his grandmother.
confused, the grandma stared at the blonde boy laying against colby.
colby smiled but it soon faded when he explained what happened to sam.
his grandmother's eyes widened as she felt so bad for the boy.
"Oh you poor thing.." the grandmother whispered as she told colby she was gonna make some cookies to hopefully lighten up the mood.
colby gently laid the blonde down and pulled him close. sam stirred in his sleep slightly as colby played with the country boys hair.
sam, has everything taken from him.
his mother.
his father.
his siblings.
his family.
and Colby felt so bad for him. 'sam didn't deserve any of this.' colby thought to himself as he gazed down lovingly at the boy in his arms.
- hour later -
colby was still awake. he was on his phone scrolling through Instagram.
the blonde boys head on the brunettes chest.
the scent of cookies went through both of the boys nostrils.
the sleeping boy slowly fluttered open his eyes as he looked up at colby tiredly.
"What's that smell?.." sam whispered. colby chuckles.
"Cookies, baby boy."
