Chapter 16: Long Day

The sound of the alarm pounds in my head, why do we have to wake up so early in the morning. I don't get Julie, she has 3 children and still gets up at 6h. It's my job so I better get ready, but before I need a freaking shower. The thought of taking a shower actually gives me the strength to get out of bed.

"Nina, baby, wake up it rang." She mumbles something but I don't quite understand her morning words, I wait for her to roll in the bed because it's her way to say she's slowly waking up. I grab some boxers and headed to the shower. The hot warm water that soaks my body gives me a boost of energy but I'll have plenty of energy after I take my caffeine.

We have two episode left before the mid-season, although Kev and Julie haven't told us anything about the next episodes, so I'm guessing they didn't figure out something yet. I'm standing in the middle of the hallway with my shirt unbutton walking to the kitchen to find Paul and Sara.

"Yeah, so I'll text you around noon to know if you want to grab a bite." I heard Paul say. I'm used to their little morning talks but I'm not with Nina's talks.

"Good morning guys." Sara sets a plate of food in front of my face which I'm thankful for because I'm starving for some bacon and toast. She and Nina always makes us food, like they just know when we need food or even coffee because Sara just handed me a cup of coffee, and I needed it. "Muchas gracias."

"So, a new movie euh. To be honest I'm not sure it will be a good movie," Paul kisses Sara's cheek as her face falls apart. "It will be amazing." Sara slapped his arm and he laughed.

"Yup a new movie. I'm super excited to start the new project." Paul's face turned into a grin.

"I'd be too."

"Do you know any of your co-stars." I suddenly ask.

"Nope. Well maybe but the director didn't tell me names." She flash me a smile and then went upstairs.

"Look at her how she's outgoing." Paul said as he watch Sara climb up the stairs.

"Yeah, just like Nina." I smile and took a full bite of my food.

"Did you hear her sing?" I gave my full attention to Paul.

"Sara sings! How come I didn't know that? Oh do you think Nina sings too?" And now I wondered if my girlfriend I have been dating for three years can sing.

Paul smiles, damn that boy is in love. You clearly see the stars in his eyes when he talks about Sara. Well, I'll have my little investigation on those dobreva vocal chords.

It was so hard this morning to roll out of bed, and I have a headache to join my rough morning. I look at the alarm clock and it showed 6:45 am. I had to get so I did.

I took a quick shower just to wake me up a little. When I got out I found Sara on my bed with a cup of coffee that was for me.

"Thank you needed it." I took the cup and drag a sip into my mouth.

"You look like you fought with your hairbrush." She said and she was right, I did fight with my hairbrush because it freakin' broke when I brushed my hair.

"I did. That's why I'm doing a ponytail and I'm letting the stylist do the thing." My cousin laughed and got up.

"Well you better hurry cause it's 7:20 and you start shooting at 8:05." My eyes immediately widened when she told me the time. Shit Shit!

I put a bra and threw a dress on with shoes that doesn't match but I don't want to be late and anyways I look like shit so I don't bother to fix it.

"I'll probably be home later than you guys. Paul don't forget to text me." Sara kisses Paul goodbye and waves us out.

"Do you think were going to be late?" I ask once we got in the car.

"Impossible. It'll take us about 20 minutes to get there. Why are you so worried it's not like Julie will cut your part." I laugh because he was right, what's wrong with me? I must be tired, yeah probably just tired.

We made it on time and I was directly sent to the stylist. Alejandro arranged everything and I was ready to film, finally.

I had a couple of hours to myself so I went to run around in the city before I get home and get ready for the meeting with the new cast.

I choose a simple outfit, with the help of Nina's clothes! She doesn't mind well I hope.

I grabbed my phone and took Paul's car which he left for me. Isn't he sweet?

I carefully parked the car, and walk in the studio.

"Sara Dobrev. Ah were so glad you could make it. Come on I'll show you the cast." The director led me to a huge table with some cast and staff, I guess. I recognize some faces which made me happy.

"Hey Jane!" I said and embrace my new co-star.

"It's been a while. I didn't know you had the other main part." She said returning my embrace.

"Great, you've met. Now I'll present you the others." Once again the director made me walk around the table and introduced me to my formal co-stars. "Thomas Mann, will play Roosevelt, your main love interest. Jane Levy, will play your best friend, April. Thomas McDonnell, will play your crush, Aaron. Jackson Nicoll, will be playing your little brother, Albert. And Osric Chau, will be playing April love's interest, as Peng."

The director made us talk to know eachother for the chemistry and connections. Thomas Mann, is one hilarious human being. I mostly talked with him since he was going to play my love interest, we need this special chemistry. After an hour or so, talking and laughing the director made us practice on our very first day!

We all practiced until our voices would crack, and that's when the director called it a day. I checked the time and saw it was 5:30! What the hell? Shit, 4 messages from Paul, I'm in trouble.

I called him, and he picked up after a few rings. I talk before he could say anything.

"Oh my God, babe. I'm so sorry, the director made us practice until 5:30. I'll make it up to you. I promise." The line went silent. "Paul?"

I heard a deep voice, "turn around Sara." I turn to see Paul with a brown paper bag in hand written, Taco Bell. Oh that boy.

"How did you know the studio was here?" I asked as I advance towards him and grab the bag out of his grip.

"Let's just say I know where to find my girlfriend. And, I figured that if you didn't replied you were busy, so here I am." He smiled and plented a kiss on my forehead. We started walking out of the studio when it hit me. I slapped Paul on the arm.

"Why?" He ask as he rubs his arm.

"You dead lined me." He laughed, "I had no choice we were beside and it was loud." I believed him and shrug it off, we got in his car, since Nina and Ian dropped him off. I ate the food that my boyfriend got me while he drives us home. Home, I always liked the sound of that.
