quickly getting ready for the day, Caroline slipped her cardigan on rushing out of the chateâu meeting up with Kiara and Sarah, she walked over to the van hearing the girls laughing sitting next to Sarah.
"he said it looked something like this." Kiara showed a drawing of the well John B was in.
"so.." Sarah added.
"that's 50 feet down, and they're using 100- feet rope." Caroline says looking at the picture.
"so i guess this little wagon will go.. straight to the gold room." Kiara said while the three girls laughed at the drawing.
"who drew this?" Sarah laughed.
"who do you think?" Kie laughed looking out the window looking at Pope who was staring.
Sarah and Caroline gave each other the 'they like each other' look wiggling their eyebrows and laughing, they watched the boys smiling and laughing quietly.
"Kie! this better work." JJ walked over with the gold in his hands tossing onto the floor of the van.
"we can't pawn this if there's a giant wheat symbol on it." he added, Kiara pulled a blowtorch out her bag looking at the boy.
"it's gonna work." Kie said.
"did you just have that hidden near you or something?" Caroline laughed looking at the blowtorch as Kie smiled at her and nodded.
Kie started to melt the gold as everyone watched, JJ and Pope high-fived as Caroline stood behind the boys watching the gold melt. once it was melted enough the group all hopped into the van driving to the pawnshop in town.
"hell of a job melting it down, Dr. Frankenstein." JJ said stepping out of the van followed by everyone else.
"like you could've done better." Kie replied, everyone watched the two quietly as they argued.
"i could have. i took a welding class." JJ said.
"you- when?" Kie argued not believing the blonde.
"whoa, whoa, hey. sh! chill out, okay?" John B said calmly trying to calm the two friends down.
"easy for you to say. you're not the one that has to pawn this piece of shit off." JJ said holding out the gold. "how did i get this job anyway?"
"because you're the best liar." Pope says.
JJ turned to Caroline who just smiled placing a kiss on his cheek.
the six stepped into the pawnshop quietly standing in different places watching JJ start his story.
"afternoon, ma'am." JJ said looking at the woman behind the counter.
"afternoon."
"i see you buy gold." he said, Kiara motioned for Caroline to walk over as she followed her friend.
