I woke up to the sounds of bird chirping. I get up in the morning to a severe headache. Oh boy I must have drunk too much yesterday considering my heavy headache. The drinks have taken a great toll on me. I groan. I don't think I can go to work. I see a pill and a glass of water on my side table beside my bed. I just realised I was in my bed.I then realised I wasn't in my room yesternight. How did I get here? I take the pill and drink the water. I feel a bit okay. I sit on the bed. I put two and two together and realise Rose must have brought me here. Wow she's really strong for a girl like that cos I weigh a ton. My thoughts are interrupted by soft knocks.
"Come in." I say even though I know who that is.
"Er.. Jack. I wanted to find out if you'll come to work today?" She asks and fidgets with her fingers..
"I don't think so. So when you go to work. Reschedule the board meeting and the alliance meeting. Fill all my receipts and interviews. " I say and look at her.
"Yes Sir- I mean Jack." She stutters.
"That reminds me. Did you bring me here?" I ask.
"Yes. I did." She says with pride.
"On your own. " I ask still not getting over the fact she brought me here on her own.
"Yes. I did." She says and smirks.
"Why you're stronger than I thought. " I say and smile at her.
She blushed and I smile. This was the first genuine smile. Since I dated Punzie. She starts to leave.
"Oh I brought your morning coffee." She says and hands me the coffee.
"Ohokay. Thank you Rose. " I say when I get hold of it.
"Oh don't mention it." She says
I stare at her as she leaves. I sigh when she closed the door.
Elsa
I was happy at least Jack was warming up to me. I take his car and his chauffeur drives me to the office. I arrive there and I am greeted by Hiccup.
"Jack didn't come today?" Hiccup asks.
"He's tired but he will come late." I say.
"Okay." He says and goes to his office.
I get to work and do all that he told me to do. I get an email and I am clueless as it has no subject but it came with a threatening message.
I'm coming for you Elsa.
My heart started to beat faster. I hope it's not who I think it is. Because no one knows I am Elsa.
Some five hours later.
