At the wedding
Everyone was seated and only we thr bridal team were up. I saw Hans and he smiled at me. I rolled my eyes. Anna's kids were part of the bridal team. Kristianna was the flower girl. And her brothers; Chris and Adam were the page boys. Adam fell and Chris was 2 stopped and went back to him. He ran to Kristianna and pulled her to Adam. She helped him to get up. Well she was 3 almost 4 so yeah she could. Adam who was 1 pointed to his knee and she kissed his knee. The congregation went awwwww. But it turned to laughter as he pointed to everywhere. Kristianna held his hand and they walked to the front. Leaving the pillow with the rings on the floor. Anna told Chris to get the rings and he ran back to get it. He smiled at me and gave it to me. I smiled back. Then Rapunzel came. I saw the look on Jack's face as he saw her. She was beautiful. Even though you could see her baby bump. She had that glow most pregnant women had. I was proud. She smiled at Eugene when she came to the alter. He kissed her cheek and she giggled. I stared to wipe my tears. The reverend father started the function.
"Dearly beloved we are all gathered here to witness the marriage ceremony between two lovely people in holy matrimony. Let's start with the vows shall we but before I do so is there anyone here who is against the wedding if so say now or forever hold your peace." He says.
The place became quiet as usual as no one wants to end this reunion. I glanced at Jack and he smiled at me. Well at least he was composed. I could hear sobs and I saw that it was Anna because Kristoff was rubbing her back. I guess it's her mood swings. She's 3 months pregnant.
"Okay. Do you Mr Eugene Flynn Rider take Miss Rapunzel Coronal to be your lawfully wedded wife in truth, in poverty and wealth, in sickness and health, in children and barrenness, in happiness and sadness till death do you both part?" He asks Eugene.
"I do." Eugene says and looks at Punzie with love in his eyes.
"And do you Miss Rapunzel Coronal take Mr Eugene Flynn Rider to be your lawfully wedded husband in truth, in poverty and wealth, in sickness and health, in children and barrenness, in happiness and sadness till death do you both part?" He asks Punzie.
She looks at Jack. He smiles and with tears in his eyes he nods. She looks at Eugene and with tears in her eyes she looks at the priest.
"Oh I do." She says
"We now shall receive the rings. And may God bless these rings. Exchange the rings." He says and I hand him the rings.
Eugene take the rings and gives one to Punzie. They exchange the rings and then the reverend father goes on and then starts to say a prayer in a different language. He sprinkles anointing oil on them as they knelt down. He blesses them and Eugene helps Punzie to her feet. Once they're standing the reverend father continues.
"With the power invested in me I pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss the bride." He says .
Eugene and Punzie kiss and the crowd goes wild. They go down and then head to the wedding reception area. I join hands with Jack and he wipes a falling tear. I hug him and whisper to him that everything will be alright. He nods and we get into his car to head to the reception area. When we came in the wedded couple were not there. Funnily enough the place was full but luckily Anna had saved a space for us. Jack met Hiccup and went to talk to him. Astrid looked beautiful in her dress. I had never seen her before and I must say they had beautiful children.
"So tell me what have you been doing lately Elsa?" She asks me as she wipes the chocolate from Adam's face.
"Anna!" I say and she looks at me like I am overreacting.
"What it's not like Hans doesn't know that you're here." She says. Yes. Anna found out since Hans told her. Well he actually knew she knew.
"She's right Elsa." Kristoff says and ties Chris shoes. I look at my 3 year old niece who smiled at me.
"Aunt Elsa. N3xt wik is ma birfdai!!"
"I know darling. Let's keep it a secret shall we." I wink at her and she giggles.
"I am still trying to investigate mum and dad's death." I tell Anna and Kristoff with a serious face.
"Elsa... you know what happened. Let's focus on your marriage." Anna says
"Anna..." I say. She knows what is happening between Hans and I is no marriage.
"Rose?" Someone says. I turn and see Punzie. She arched her eyebrows to Eugene and I get why she called me Rose.
"Congratulations Punzie." I say and hug her.
"Thank you Elsa." She hugs me and says whispering the last part.
"Eugene. As you know. My cousin." She introduced me to her husband when we break from the hug and I smile
"Yeah nice to meet you." I say and shake his hands.
"OMG!!! ANNA!! You're glowing!" Punzie screams.
"AND SO ARE YOU!" Anna screams too.
They fan girl and hug. Two typical pregnant women. Except Punzie is heavily pregnant and Anna is at the first phase. I roll my eyes. Jack comes over and Punzie moves to him. He looks at her. She suddenly hugs him and then he smiled at her.
"Thank you for being here Jackson. I really appreciated it." She says and she smiles at him.
"No worries Punz." He says and looks at her. I could feel the tension.
"Oh Eugene this is Jackson." She says and moves to him and links arms.
"Oh hi. I'm Eugene." He says and moves to shake his hands.
"Nice to meet you. Take care of her bud. " Jack says and shakes his hand.
"Don't mention it. I will guard her all my life." Eugene says and looks at Punzie. She blushes.
They left but not before Punzie looking back to look at Jack's face. He smiled.
"I'm proud of you Jack." I say and stretch out my hands. He smiles and ran to them.
"Thanks Rose." He says.
