I snoozed off my alarm and continued to sleep a bit more. After a while, I checked the time it was 9:30 am.
Y/N:Shit I'm late for work!
I said as I quickly got off my bed and ran to the bathroom and did my business.I got out and wore my clothes for today.
I then did my hair into my usual cute braided hairstyle and wore a casual makeup look.I ran downstairs and decided to skip breakfast.

Mum:Wait you haven't had your breakfast!
Y/n:It's okay I will have it at work!
Dad:You better be home as you as you are finish with work.We have something to discuss.
Y/n:Will do!
I shouted as I got out of the house and ran to work.I hope I'm not too late.Geez why did I have to sleep in on the most important day? Note to self:never sleep in.I got on the bus and sat in the seat that was free.After a while it finally stopped and I got off and literally ran into the building.
I ran to my office and got my stuff out of my bag and placed it on my desk.I acted as if nothing bad happened and everything was normal.One of the workers then knocked on my door.
Y/n:Come in!
He walked in.It was Jimin.
Jimin: Are you ready for the presentation?
Y/n:I was born ready!
You see,Jimin is my best friend in and out of work.He made me feel comfortable when I got the job here and we became best buddies.
I grabbed my folder and followed him into the conforence room.We walked inside and sat next to each other.We waited for everyone else to finish their presentations until it was finally my turn.I walked to the front and faced everyone.Jimin gave me a sign to calm down.I took a deep breath and started talking.
Y/n:Hello everyone! As all of you probably know,my name is Y/N L/N! Today I will be talking about my writer's new story and what I will be doing to improve as his editor.
After I finished my presentation, everyone clapped and gave me some feedback.I went back to my seat.After everyone finished their presentation,we all went back to our work stations.Jimin walked me back to my office.
Jimin:That was a really good presentation Y/N!
Y/N:Thank you! I felt nervous at first but when you gave a sign to calm down, I felt better!Of course as his editor,I have to make sure I don't disappoint him.But thanks!
Jimin:Your welcome!
Jimin then open the door for me and I walked into my office.
Jimin:Do you want to grab coffee later?
Y/n:Sorry I really wish I could but my parents want me home as soon as I finish work today! We can go tomorrow?
Jimin:No it's okay! Tomorrow sounds good to me.I will see you later k? Bye!
Y/n:Bye bye!
Then he left.
Y/n:Finally some free time!
I said as I sighed.The day has only started and I'm already tired.No!I can't be seen moping around.I need to start doing actual work.I turned on the laptop and started doing work.
*Few hours later*
Y/n:Finally I'm done!!
I can finally leave this place and go home and watch netflix!! I grabbed my stuff and walked out of my office and locked it.Once I turned around, I screamed.
Y/n:AHH!
???:Y/N! Sorry I didn't mean to scare you!
Y/n:Huh? Mr Jeon! Why are you doing here at this hour?
Mr Jeon:I came here to get some paperwork.By the way I told you to call me Jungkook! We are partners so we can call each other by our first names.
Y/N:Sorry Jungkook! :P
Jeon Jungkook is my writer.In other words, I'm his editor.At first, he seemed quite scary but once you get to know him, he's a real baby and quite cool!
Jungkook:Are you going home now?
Y/n:Yep!My parents want me to come back home soon as I was finished with work today.
Jungkook:Okay then.Let me drive you home!
Y/n:No way I can't let you do that! I can go home perfectly fine Jungkook.
Jungkook:Please I insist.
He said as he gave puppy dog eyes.Dang it! He knows I can't resist those cute eyes.I sighed in defeat.

We walked out of the building and went into his car.It has been a while since he last drove me home.Oh well, at least I don't have to wait for the bus.
He drove in silence and after a while we finally arrived in front of my house.I got off the car and thanked jungkook for the ride home.He then left and I went inside.
Y/n:Mum!Dad!I'm home!
Dad:Welcome back sweetie.How was work today?
Y/n:Same as usual.
Mum:Y/n! We need to talk to you about something.
Y/n:Okay?
We all were sitting in the living room.Mum and dad were sitting opposite me.I gulped.Why are they so serious for? Did I do something bad? Last time I did something wrong was when I accidently slapped someone on the face.
Dad:There is something we need to tell you so don't freak out.
Y/n:Please Dad whatever it is you are going to tell me probably won't make me freak out -_-
