Part 8: The legendary Pokemon find out and a new friend

*Meanwhile in the hall of origin*
"THEY DID WHAT!" Yelled Zyguard, "I can't believe May did that." said Manaphy crying a little, "How awful, these humans hurt my old friend's feelings i can not just sit here and watch." screamed Mewtwo, "Calm down number 2 we will fix this." said Mew, many of the legendary Pokemon Ash encountered in the passed were not happy. "But at least that redhead stuck by them like she should have." said Ho-Oh, "Yeah that is true but now Lara thinks she has no one on her side but her family and the friends who stick by Ash's side." Said Zapdos, the Alpha just sat in his place since he was trying to put two and two together to find out why the backstabbers left Ash's side in the first place.

"Zyguard, come here please." Said the Alpha, "Yes Araus?" He Asked, "I want you to split into your two cores and use your form they called Squishy to interact with them and use telepathy to communicate with us on who switches sides or what happens to the Chosen one and his family." He Said, Zyguard nodded and split into Squishy and Z2 then Squishy left to find Ash and Friends.

*With Charlotte*
The red haired girl walked home with a  confused look on her face, 'Why did this happen?' she asked herself as she came up to her house where her mother was waiting with her brother. "Charlotte, what happened?" her mother asked, the girl sighed and looked up at her mother standing there with a worried look on her face was nun other than Aria. She was older now around the same age as Ash and his friends her hair grew longer it now reached her thighs but she had it cut to her back since it was getting too long, she had it in a braid. "Could we speak in my room please?" Charlotte asked, Aria nodded and let the girl pass by. "Mommy, what just happened?" asked a brown haired boy, "I do not know son but i will find out, but for now go and play outside or in your room while I talk with your sister. Ok Leo?" Aria said looking at the 5 year old boy named Leo. "Yes mommy," he replied and left the room, Aria walked back into the house and closed the door behind her. 'I wonder where Cilan is?' she said to herself but she knew something was wrong with him since the start of the league, Aria sighed and went upstairs to talk with her daughter.

Charlotte sat on her bed as she held her plushy of Charmander that she got when she was 5 years old, her room was painted cherry red and she had a wall full of paintings and pictures of Pokemon. One another wall where posters and one of them was of Serena, it was from when she won the tittle of Kalos Queen. But on her nightstand were 3 pictures, one was of her and her family, another was of Aria, Serena, and Ash when he won the Indigo league 10 years ago. The final one was of Ash, Serena, and Lara wen she became a trainer, the reason she has these photos was because Viola took them. She is the younger sister of Alexa and she is related to Serena's mother, also because Aria was there and was given them as gifts for all she has done for Ash and friends. The door to her room opened and Aria walked in and she closed the door behind her, Charlotte tried to keep her tears in but failed she started to cry. Aria walked over to Charlotte, sat down next to her and hugged her. 

"What happened?" Aria asked, Charlotte tried to reply but her tears would not allow her to talk. "Take a deep breath Charlotte and tell me what happened after Lara's win?" Charlotte did what she was told and started to explain, "After Lara won I was excited since after her battle I was going to tell her congrats and also ask if she wanted to be my friend, but May texted her brother Max to Delia's home and I was going to ask her to be my friend I guess the adults had other plans." Aria pulled back and looked her daughter in the eye with a confused look, "What do you mean who had other plans?" she asked, "Misty, May, Dawn, Brock, Dad and the other kids they betrayed Lara and her family so now she thinks that I was on there side instead of being with Lara. I really wanted to be her friend not her enemy but mother what do I do after what just happened?" Charlotte asked as her tears came back streaming down her face, Aria couldn't believe what Cilan did to Ash and friends. "Why don't we go and visit Lara so that we can explain to her what happened?" Aria suggested Charlotte nodded and they left the room Aria got Leo and they walked to the gates of the Ketchum Mansion.   

*Back with Lara and friends*
Lara hasn't stopped crying even though she was in the arms of her mother the tears just won't end it was so hard for her to see the betrayal and also have it be focused on her it was just too much for the young trainer just too much. Serena and Lara were now in the living room with Ash and the rest of there remaining friends it was also hard for Ash and Serena to see Lara in the state of brake down she was in no one would have guessed that this would have hurt her so much unless you knew Lara personally. Serena held her baby angle close to her and she also felt like crying since it hurt her to see her little girl in that state of non stop crying.

A knock was heard on the door and Ash went to get the door since he did not want to disturb Lara or Serena. Once he got to the door he opened it and saw Aria standing there with Charlotte and little Leo, "Hey Aria what makes you come visit?" Ash asked with a smile, "I came so that Charlotte could clear some stuff up with Lara it's about the betrayal." Ash nodded and let them in he also led them to the living room were they see Lara crying in her mother's arms. "Lara could you listen for a minute?" When Lara heard her father's voice she turned around and sat in her mother's lap as tears came down and she was now facing everyone. "Now that I have you attention Charlotte here would like to clear some stuff with you." Lara nodded and used her hand to motion Charlotte to get closer and she did. "Lara ever since we were small I wanted to be your friend you were nice, smart, beautiful like your mother you have a unique personality and you were just a joy to be around. I never meant for this to happen I wanted to be there to help you since I could seance that my dad and the others were not going to be nice to you or your father." Lara listened and for once her tears stopped she wiped them and focused her attention back on Charlotte.

"I saw how lonely you were and I wanted to help you in anyway I could but I was never allowed to, I am a big fan of both of your parents and I think that your parents were a match made in heaven and that they should be respected not turned down. I saw the way you took down Ivy and I thought that it was amazing since I know that you were thought by the best now if you would allow me I would like to be your friend and If i need to I will pledge my friendship to you I just want you to know that you are not alone." Lara could hear the truth in Charlotte's words so she got off of her mother's lap and she walled over to the red head but Charlotte thought that she was going to be screamed at but no Lara wrapped her arms around Charlotte and said. "I would love to be your friend." Charlotte was happy and she wrapped her arms around Lara the adults in the room smiled at the forming of a new friendship. The two parted from the hug and Charlotte said, "Now proper intro, I'm Charlotte Reid I'm so happy to be friends with you Lara!" The honey blond smiled and she also did an introduction. "And I'm Lara Ketchum, I feel the same way about being your friend Charlotte." The atmosphere in the room was happier then ever and Ash also had a smirk on his face since he would be facing Iris in the 2nd battle during the afternoon battles.

'Be prepared Iris since I'm coming at you with everything I have so I hope your going to be a challenge.' Ash thought and he felt his buddy Pikachu nuzzle him and also sparked a little electricity telling his trainer that he was prepared to take down Iris and show her who the real little kid is.
