Her Light

It's been a few months after Seokjin's comeback and everything was going well. His wife had stop checking the pictures from all of his photoshoot ever since he came back. Like he said, as long as he obeys her orders, everything will be fine.

"Ah I can't believe Lure magazine is sold out in only 48hours! As expected from the great Kim Seokjin" the older nudges his shoulder, making him chuckle in embarrassment.

"Ah hyung, don't say that" he piped, feeling his ears getting red from the compliment, "Lure has always been the most popular magazine"

"Eyy you're so humble" Seungjin nudges his side, making him stumble to the front a little, "It's true that they are the most popular, but you helped them become more popular by just being on the cover page!"

Seokjin only nods his head in acknowledgement, not wanting to drag the topic longer.

"Hey!" the both of them turns their head to the person at the end of the hallway, who is running towards them.

"Ouh Jiwon-ah, are you done with work?" Seungjin asks her as soon as she stands in front of them.

"Yeah, what were you guys talking about?" she asks while catching her breath.

"Ah just about Seokjin making Lure become richer in 48hours" Seungjin said, but received a nudge from the younger.

"Ah hyung stop it. You keep saying that since morning" he whines towards the older who couldn't stop complimenting him since the morning.

"Really?!! Wah as expected!" she screech in excitement while clapping her hands as she feels proud of her friend's achievement. 

"We have to celebrate this! Let's grab a drink!" she beam while jumping up and down.

"I'm totally in!" Seungjin cheers, but Seokjin looks uneasy while checking at the time on his watch.

"Ah...I think I might need to pass-OW" he groans when she suddenly slung her arm around his neck, pulling him down to her level.

"Yah, don't be a party pooper ahjussi! Let's have a little fun. Drinks on me!" her words makes Seungjin cheer in joy. 

The three of them begin to walk out of the building with Jiwon dragging Seokjin by his neck. He walks with his knees bending, adding onto the pain that he felt on his neck.

"Ow ow okay I'll go, but let me go first it hurts!" he yells and she immediately release her grip from his neck, suddenly feeling worried that she might actually hurt him.

"S-sorry. You good?" her voice is filled with concern while she checks him from top to bottom. 

She doesn't want to hurt him. Never.

"Yeah, I'm good" he assures him and she lets out a breath of relieve when he smile lightly at her. 

"Since when you've become so strong" he jokes while massaging his neck and it made her chuckle.

"So where should we go-"

"Good evening Mr Kim, your ride is waiting" a man said after bowing respectfully to all of them, interrupting their conversation.

"Eyy, don't worry I'll send him home later. You guys can go first" Seungjin said to the man while waving him off, but he didn't move.

"Mrs Kim will be home in an hour. You might not wanna be late sir" the man speaks to Seokjin again, ignoring the older's words.

The cheerful atmosphere around them becomes silent.

Jiwon looks at the man and Seokjin back and forth. She knows that he had no choice, especially when their eyes met and she could see guilt in his eyes.
