Yuri's Birthday Surpise

Yuri's birthday is the same as mine (July 26!)

So, in the spirit of birthdays, I'm doing a special texting story in celebration of that.

In this special text-story, Pippa and Jeremiah have decided to team up to make Yuri's day extra-special, like she has done for them. This chat story will have a brand new character, Natsu Otama. His bio will be posted in the introduction chapter after I have finished this story.

Duckling: I can't believe Yuri's birthday is so close! Why didn't I notice that before???

Hamilton: I'm not mad that you invited me to the chat, more confused. Wouldn't this be something you talked to Eliana about?

Duckling: Normally, yes. However, since Andie, Jacob, Kadince, Tora, and Damien just got back from...wherever...Eliana has spent a lot of time hanging out with them. Something about "reconnecting"

Hamilton: Ah, that makes sense.

Duckling: So...do you have any ideas for an unforgettable birthday celebration? I want to thank yuri for the party she threw me...

Hamilton: Sorry, I got nothing.

Duckling: Why is it so hard to come up with something for her?

Hamilton: I don't know...

Duckling: Maybe we need more heads

Hamilton: not in that way, I hope

Duckling: Ew, gross! Do you know how long it'd take to clean the blood?

Hamilton: A long time.

Duckling has invited Natsu to the chat

Natsu: Wait why don't I have a cool name?

Duckling: Sorry Natsu! I think you were absent when we made our accounts, so you didn't get a nickname. I think you can change it though.

Natsu: I'll try changing it. Oh, hey Jeremiah!

Hamilton: sup Natsu.

Natsu has changed their name to Atlantic-Turtle

Atlantic-Turtle: we've got to do something nice for Yuri... after all, it's bc of her that I'm friends with you Pippa.

Duckling: ditto

Hamilton: Ditto also

Duckling: I want yuri to feel special on her birthday, since she's made me feel special on mine...

Atlantic-Turtle: I have an idea

Duckling: Oh? Do tell!

Atlantic-Turtle: I know a place where a lot of sea turtles have laid eggs before. Before you go on about how I'm making it all about me, Wait. The eggs will hatch at night. So, Jeremiah, you and yuri can spend the day together.

Hamilton: Sounds good, but what'll you guys do?

Duckling: If you're gonna say "have a small birthday get together" it's darn well impossible to do that for Yuri.

Atlantic-Turtle: unfortunately, you're right Pippa. But...can we try?

Hamilton: if we have a giant class party for her at some point I think everyone else will be okay.

Duckling: who would end up going to the private party though?

Atlantic-Turtle: I don't want to sound exclusive, but basically us.

Duckling: what about Eliana?

Hamilton: I thought she was with her boyfriend...?

Atlantic-Turtle: maybe, but I don't want anything too crazy...

Duckling: hey, it's okay if you don't want her to have a big party. I'll plan a big party for the whole class in the morning and we'll have the smaller one in the evening

Hamilton: what about me and yuri having the whole day to ourselves?

Duckling: Sorry Jeremiah...

Atlantic-Turtle: Sorry...

Hamilton: I had no idea what we were gonna do anyways, this gives me more time to think of a surprise for her.

Atlantic-Turtle: alright, are we good?

Duckling: I think so.

Hamilton: yes.

Atlantic-Turtle: I hope yuri likes our surprise

Duckling: me too.

Hamilton: I can't wait to see her face.

Duckling: let's get this party started!
