"Hey M" Sky chirped as she bounced in the kitchen at lunch time as she overslept on purpose all because she hated mornings.
"Hello Miss extra pep in your step did i miss something" I asked
"Nopeeeeeeee but i do have something for you that i bought for you before all this shit started but it was a birthday present buttttttttttt seeing as we keep having unwelcomed visitors ,i'm giving it to you now" She smiled which caused a high level of uncertainty to raise within me
"Oh no Sky this better not be another vibrator ,for the damn last time Sky I do not plan on being Virgin Mary ,I'm not even a virgin for christ sake" I exclaimed
"Well forgive me for trying to ensure my best friend doesn't catch an STD from a community dick, but no its not another vibrator ,just close your eyes and follow me" She declared excitedly.
"Ha!!!!!! you're not getting me to do that remember last time you lead me into a concrete wall" I reminded her
"Mia just close your damn eyes or i'll sew them shut ,you're spoiling the surprise" She gritted out
"Fine ,but if you injure me I'm cutting you with the butterfly knife you gave me for christmas" I warned
"Blaaaa,blaaaa ,blaahhh" Sky mumbled leading me out the kitchen without causing me bodily harm.
"Okay open" She spoke ,I opened my eyes and looked around to see nothing, just that we were in the dining room.
"Where is it ???" I asked
"Stupid would you look down on the table ,jeez and they say you're the observant one" Sky muttered under her breath
I looked down to see a black polished metal box, ran my hand over the smooth surface and then I opened it and I was shocked to my core.
"OMG SKYLAR ANDREA WILLIAMS ,HOW DID YOU GET THIS OMGGGGGG ITS AMAZING HOWWWW" I exclaimed giddily.
"Remember my uncle Vlad pulled some strings and here you go" she said.
I looked at the Beretta 92 Fusion Black gun in the metal box along with the ammunition and things to clean my gun,Sky got me with my initials engraved on the side ,my parents would have a heart attack if they saw me with this but I've always had a thing for guns and knives ,I just need to learn how to shoot now.
"Maybe ,when things cool down we could go to a shooting range" Sky said, reading my mind.
"Yesssss ,now we just have to get you a gun" I told her.
"Not really uncle vlad got me my first gun at 15 ,when i spent the summer in Russia he even taught me to shoot ,it upstairs sitting under the bed" She spoke
"Waittttttt you've had a gun and known how to shoot for almost four years and never told me" I gasped
"I was wait for the right time" She shrugged "Anyway you wanna see it"
"Well OF COURSEEEEE" I shouted grabbing her hand dragging her to her bedroom.
When we reached Sky's bedroom ,she went to her bed bent down and pulled out a polished wooden box. She rested it on her bed and opened it and boyyyyy I was shocked.
"Your uncle is amazing damn" I gasped, staring at the gold Stechkin limited edition air gun in awe.
"I know but mom and dad would flip if they knew uncle vlad gave me this" Sky chimed closing back the box placing it back under her bed.
"Same ,my parents would probably call yours if they ever found out all the knives and now a gun that you've got me" I said walking out of Sky's room wanting to put up the gun she gave.
"Miaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Sky shouted causing me to jump
"Yes, skylarrrrr" I yelled back running down the stairs to see Sky sprawled out on the couch holding her phone looking at me.
"What??" I asked
"Are we cooking or ordering out??" She quizzed
"Ordering out, obviously ,you called me all the way downstairs for that" I replied
"Yes and also Romeo is joining us since i won't be going on the dinner because of what happened last night" She mumbled "And don't try to convince me otherwise cause i won't listen".
Knowing when Skylar makes up her mind about something ,there is no way I could get her to change her mind,I merely just shrugged.
