Arriving

I woke up the next morning on the train, today was the day we were arriving at the capital. I was terrified, of course, soon I would be in the spotlight, judged by everyone in the capital, for once I was gratefull district 12 were the poorest ...

I layed in bed just thinking for around 20 minutes ,I still couldn't explain what I felt when I saw the brunette boy at the reaping last night...this, very confusing, thought was interuppted when Effie, once again, came down the halls screeching "big big day"

Eventually I dragged myself out of bed and went to get breakfast, I had no appitite so I just drank this thing called coffee, It tasted bitter and strange but Effie told me it's supposed to give you energy, the people from the capital are weird.

I stared at the hundreds of extravagantly dressed people cheering us on, or should I say Katniss, acorrding to Effie she had made a big splash in the capital with the whole volenteering thing, to be honest I was glad, the less attention on me, the better. I kinda just stood there awkwardly untill Katniss came up beside me amd looked discusted at the sight of the crowed, now going crazy for her.

Not soon enough we went through a long tunnel, the only way ti get to the heart on the capital...

I couldn't help but be amazed at the sight of my bedroom, considering I thought the train was the height of luxury, this was 1000x better.Effie told us we had 20 minutes to settle in before we met our stylists, the people who would prepare us for chariots, this would be the first time that the capital got to see who we truly were. I prayed to god that I wouldnt be naked and covered in coal like last years tributes.

(a/n) ok so I know this is super short but its 1 in the morning and I relized I probably needed to update, to be honest I didn't relize how hard it would be to consistently upload but it is my summer holdiays now so I hopefully will have more time to update at least once per week. Thank you so much for all the support, I litterally cant belive I have over 60 reads, you dont know it but it  honestly means the world to me. At this point the an is longer than the actual story so I am really sorry and I hope to have a longer chapter next time. Before I go I just wanted to say massive thanks to Nootieloover3737 for  the constant support, It honestly made me keep writing..
