Danganronpa killing harmony Life after AU

Introduction

Hello! This is the author (obviously) and this is just to go over the AU I kinda created and my rules that I go by. (also this art is the canon art and not mine also same with the cover art lol)

Story rules: So basically the rules are that I'm going to try and stay away from triggers other than on this page explaining the backstories of people. However, I plan to add trigger warnings as I see fit, and if you think it needed to be added tell me so I can add them. I also want you all to know that I want this AU to grow so feel free to use it if you want! All I ask is that you don't claim it as yours and if you change anything (please don't do anything too drastic) and say you changed it slightly, this doesn't count the ships that will be in this story. 

AU's: Alright now for the fun part, Its called the life after AU and it's after the killing game, but no one dies, the game instead is kinda like Goodbye despair in a way it's like a videogame but no one knows that it was. Their memories were whipped and they changed their personalities and such but only enough to make it entertaining for tv. So all the characters' personalities are pretty much the same, such as Miu being a bit vulgar or Kokichi being an impulsive liar but its not as bad so Miu would do it more jokingly and not use her jokes as often or Kokich would have more believable lies and only in self-defense. For Basic Knowledge, I'll make a list of characters and a bit to understand them. (Als Katio and Maki were probably the most fun to come up with caus it was so much I could mess with) Feel free to use this AU as long as you give credit to me. Now there may be an AU similar to this and also the pre game stuff kinda intertwined with this but its not quite the same with how characters are and some small stuff but i promise its more than just the pregame stuff. 

Trigger warning on a few of these, especially Korekiyo mostly just emotional a*use and bulling 

Kaede- she still is a piano prodigy but her super upbeat personality is taken way down. She has her twin sister in this and all that Tsumugi said is a bit mixed up, also filled with a bit more despair so to speak, she did have faith in humanity but it was starting to fail so she decided to join to try and help that but backed out saying that the Danganronpa thing was a reason behind, still, she was put in the game. Her Piano skills were quite s impressive but she still was pretty good and spent a lot of time looking into music. 

Shuichi- his Uncle is still a detective, not as emo just reserved, into mysteries, he lives with maki it's kinda explained when you read about her but they are close so a lot of the time in this they are inseparable in more of a brother/sister since. Back onto the love of mysteries thing, this is kinda why he leaned more to the Ultimate detective and wanted to be the ultimate detective himself, soon after the looked into and found out how terrible Team Dangaronpa is and how they kidnapped the people who audition and everyone let it happen he soon tries to withdraw his audition but it was too late. 

Kaito- He's pretty much the same not as pushy and just really into space Also his audition tape was a lie he didn't put one in at all, this was a cause of a random kidnapping he lived with his grandparents and only watched like a season of Dangaronpa and thought it was disgusting. He also loved space and dreamed of being an astronaut but his grandparent was rather old and needed him to help them, his parents dying when he was young to where he can't remember them at all. -this also made it hard for him t make friends and keep them so he created a really friendly uplifting personality that was exactly like his personality in the show. 

Maki- shes.. a lot different her being an orphan still is there but the whole taking care of the younger kids thing isn't true and was put in a foster family which just so happens to be Shuichi"s family, this meaning his uncle and it was before Shuichi's patents kinda left, (and there are a few things like this) so her life growing up wasn't all that bad but growing up in a family that has a lot of detective work and mysteries that grew an interest in weaponry for her and from a younger age she was more interested in how Suhichi's uncle would find the dead people rather then Shuichi's love for the whole story. This caused some concern in the house making her have to go to a therapist to make sure she was fine which brought her to a less trusting self. because of her connection with Shuichi and her interest in weapons Team Dangaronpa though she would be great and added her in the mix as well. although they had to take the hope of someone who had connections with people in the game because it gave hope.
