Your POV
I followed Overhaul around for a bit before he opened a room. It seemed like a bedroom.
"You'll be staying in this bedroom for the time being. Don't go snooping around, this isn't your permanent room," Overhaul said.
"Who's is it?" I asked.
"Mine." I nodded, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"You didn't have to give up your room for me. I don't need a fancy bedroom or anything. I'll sleep wherever," I said.
"No, this is fine. I'll be sleeping elsewhere until we can get you a permanent room," Overhaul said.
"Ok... Oh, by the way Chi-"
"I go by Overhaul."
"Right. By the way Overhaul, who was the girl behind me in the room you kept me in? If it's private I don't need to know," I asked.
"She is the key to our plan. That's all you need to know," Overhaul answered. "Get settled in. There's a map of the base on the nightstand. You'll come to my office when you are ready to discuss the rules," he turned to leave and opened the door.
"One more thing!" I called. He paused and turned his head in my direction. I could tell he was getting a little ticked at me. "Will I be able to get my stuff from my hideout?" He thought for a moment and then turned to head back to the hallway outside.
"Yes. I'll send Chronostasis and Rappa to bring you back and let you grab your things," Overhaul answered, walking out the room.
"When?" I asked. I really had him pissed now, but that was the main point.
"After we discuss the rules. Any more questions?"
"Nope," he continued out the door. "Wait! Can I get my knife back??" Overhaul turned to me, his fists clenched, his amber eyes glaring through my soul. I smiled innocently. Breathing out a sigh, he reached behind him and took something from his.. back pocket I'm guessing. He tossed the knife to me and I caught it midair. He left the room fully and slammed the door behind him.
I chuckled a little. My suspicions were correct. I studied everything there was to study about Overhaul. I knew him like the back of my hand. And he hates being asked too many questions. Hates it.
And the fact that he has no women in his whole facility (besides the little girl) made me question how he would treat me. Would he not even care that I was a woman and treat me the same as anyone else, or would he treat me with more respect than everyone else, and maybe soften up a little?
I theorized that it would be the second option. And my theories were correct.
Let's face it.
If I was a guy, I would've been dead as soon as he caught me in the base.

About an hour later, I had completely memorized the layout of the building, just by staring at the map for as long as I possibly could. I got up and stretched, twirling my knife around on one finger.
I walked out of the room, tossing my knife into the air and expertly catching it everytime. Winding around the halls of the base, I eventually found myself at Overhaul's office. I knocked, receiving a gruff "come in."
