So, if you read my posts on my page, you probably already know, but I asked my parents and I'm allowed to stretch my ears!

Granted I'm not going to a super high size, I'm probably going to stop at eight gauge (three millimeters,) but I'm still super excited.

I'm going to try and keep you guys updated throughout the process, and tell you bout what I learn from tapering, and overall stretching my ears, so anyone who thinks they may want to stretch their ears aswell can look at this, or me for some advice.

Right now, pretty much all I have to do is buy the actual taper kit I have in mind.

As for the reason why I've decided to stretch my ears it's because;

I can't wear a lot of the jewelry I own, because it will make my ears puffy, make them turn green (or black depending on what it is,) and a lot of the time I forget to take out my studs before bed, so in the morning my earring smushed my ear and made it bleed in my sleep, then the earring gets stuck in the scab, and it fucking sucks!

I'll then have to either take out the earring and the scab, and let my ear scab over and heal, or leave the earring until the scab is loose enough to take it out then let my ear rescab, and heal again.

So, with a smaller size gauge (once my ears are fully healed,) I can wear tunnels and put regular jewelry in them, fake jewelry too and not have to worry about any reactions, because the fake metal won't be touching my ear.

Also, when going to bed, I could just wear a tunnel or plug, and won't have to worry about my ears being smushed, however I'd have the problem of possibly losing tunnels while sleeping, but that's better than my jewelry getting stuck in scabs.

So, yeah! That's why I want to stretch my ears.

For future reference this is what my ear looks like now, with the studs I got when piercing my ears.
