"We check the hospital there has be some supplies we can use." Topic shouted to the others cradling Click in his arms. He got shot in the upper arm and they were out of medical supplies. They were so close to Capital, but now they were at a screeching halt yet again. Topic was terrified for his boyfriend, although Click was extremely calm not noticing there was a hole in his arm. The shock hadn't worn off yet.

Wonder jumped off his horse. "Salty Mini and I have the top few floors." He yelled running towards the building with the other two. He wanted to get the supplies as soon as possible, they didn't know how much time they had. Then again he was also doing this to force Oz and Flinders into the same group. Click was bleeding pretty badly. James ran after the group, barking.

"I got the first three floors." Oz jumped off his horse whistling for Casper.

"You are not going alone." Topic said sternly, it was too much of a risk.

"I have Casper."

"Flinders is going with you, end of story." Topic glared at Oz before turning his attention back to Click.

Flinders sighed, he was putting off talking to Oz for a good few days. Now he had no other choice but to be alone with him for the first time in weeks. He was scared out of his mind of how Oz was going to act around him once they were out of sight of Topic.

"We should start at the third floor work our way down." Flinders stumbled over his words. They were on the first floor, the door was open because of Wonder and his group going through before them.

Oz nodded heading for the stairs, Casper on his heels. Flinders followed trying desperately to make himself say something, anything. There was nothing, he couldn't say a single thing. They walked up the stairs in an uncomfortable silence.

"I know its you next to me when I have nightmares." Oz said after a while as he searched an doctors office. Flinders' breath hitched in his throat, oh shit. "After all that I said to you, why?" Oz's voice was shaky, he didn't understand why after constantly pushing him away, that he'd come back.

Flinders didn't answer, he didn't know how to answer. It was so easy talking to Wonder, it should be the same for Oz. But it wasn't. It was an opportunity to talk to him, he had to take it. "Because whether you like it or not, I still care about you." He said, finally starting to speak his mind. "Because even though you hurt me, I still want to be able to be there for you. Why? I fucking love you thats why, there isn't a time where you weren't on my mind. There wasn't a time that I didn't stop what I was doing to make sure you weren't having nightmares. We lost Blair, I know, but I lost you in the process."

At this point, Oz knew, he fucked up. He sank to the ground, he felt sick. This was not what he wanted, his grief had taken over over him and he did realize that he was being such an asshole. He felt a hand on his shoulder.

"So how do you think Flinders is handling Oz?" Salty asked looking under the desk for Mini. In every room of that floor Mini was playing an elaborate game of hide and seek. It was nice that he was starting to act like his age again, when he first joined the group he was quiet and more calculated than now.

"It can go either of two ways. They don't talk at all, or they will. I just hope they don't start arguing." Wonder looked through the closet a bit worried for Flinders. "How the hell do they not have anything?"

"Someone might've cleaned it all out." Salty pulled out a sheet of paper. "Says here that there should be a bunch of supplies in a safe. On I am sure is the floor below us." He turned around quickly opening a cabinet door, scaring the child inside. "We're going down a floor." He messed up Mini's hair, who elbowed him in the side then ran behind Wonder.

"James." Wonder yelled, a dog bounded down the hallway. He jumped onto Mini licking the boy's face. "Ahk James." Mini pushed James away giggling. "James off." Wonder stared down at him, James got off his tail still wagging.

"Silly dog." Mini wiped his face with his sleeve before patting the good boy's head. They walked down to the stairs to the fourth floor. He ran into the nearest room, "I'm hidden come find me." He yelled.

"You go find the safe. I'll keep Mini occupied." Wonder kissed Salty's cheek before going into the room. "Imma find you, ya little shit." He said looking around the room, James was also looking around. He could just see Mini's foot sticking out from behind the bed. He looked in the cabinets to stall, "not in here." There was a muffled giggle. He crept up behind Mini and grabbed his sides, "gotcha."

"Whats with the long face?" Click asked pressing his hand against Topic's face, a rag was wrapped around his arm to help stop the blood. Topic sighed bringing his hand up to touch Click's, "it's nothing." He smiled slightly, he was worried about Click in all  honesty.

"You're smile is so pretty." Click tilted his head slightly. "You never show it as much as you used to." Topic nodded, tears welling up in his eyes. "Stop acting like I'm going to die Topic. I've taken a bullet to the stomach before, I can take a bullet to the arm." Click wiped away Topic's tears. "I'm not going to die that easily. I wuv vu too much Topiccy woppicy."

Topic kissed him, how could he not. His boyfriend was so insufferable sometimes, but most of the time it was endearing. "I hate you sometimes." He told Click, their faces inches away. "But any other time I can tolerate you."

"Sure, tolerate. Tell the rock in your pants that." Click raised eyes eyebrows , wrapping his good arm around Topic's neck. The Canadian had given up, his face was red. He didn't even notice, he was too worried about Click. Damn male genitals

"We shouldn't go down there." Flinders could hear the overwhelming sound of around at least fifty infected. They were standing at the entrance of the basement of the hospital, it was a hotspot of infected. "We already have enough supplies, lets just go." He tugged at Oz's hand.

"Fine." Oz turned back to the hallway. As they walked an infected ran out of one of the doorways right for Flinders. Oz pushed Flinders away from the creature getting bitten instead. As quick as light he took out his machete with his free hand and slammed it down on its head. "The one time I didn't wear my jacket." He grumbled taking out some bandages to wrap his arm in.

Flinders was in tears, he just got Oz back and now he was actually going to loose him. Oz looked over to him, confused why he was crying. "Why are you- oh right. That." He sighed. "It's alright Flinders, I can take it. Not like I can get infected anyways." He held his hand out for the guy.

"You're a fucking asshole." Flinders punched Oz's arm once he got up off the ground. "How long have you known?" He asked after a while.

"The same time I disappeared." Oz shrugged, he felt so much better being able to just talk to Flinders. He knew what he had to do, he couldn't hide in the shadows anymore. Blair chose him to lead the group the rest of the way. He was going to turn himself around, and be the person Blair saw in him.
