Epilogue

The weather was chilly, the streets giving off the Christmas vibes. The houses with christmas decorations. Well it was the same for the couple too. They had begun to live together in a apartment after Yibo graduated.

Life for Yibo and Zhan had gotten well, quite good. Yibo on finishing his high school joined a racing company and continued his studies through online classes while Zhan had started his own studio.

Xiao Zhan had gone out for a last minute shopping since it was Yibo's command. He opened the door as he entered into his apartment. It was already midnight. And the lights were all switched. This was weird since Yibo didn't sleep without lights and he swore that the younger told that he'd be at home.

He went and switched on the lights. His gaze searching for the younger. He was utterly confused on here the younger was as he turned his head to see a gift ?

He went towards the gift but damn that thing was heavy. He pushed the red box adorned with a white ribbon. He at some point began to push it with his back.

After pushing it by the couch, he made his way to the bedroom. But this strange noise followed him. He turned his head to see the red box behind his back again.

Zhan went and sat on the bed.

"I know its you Yibble gum so just come out." He snarled.

"If you're not coming out I'm going to sleep with our son and abandon you." Zhan said pulling a stuffed dolphin on his lap.

This son he was referring to was wei wei the stuffed dolphin which Zhan and Yibo decided to adopt as their son. The story behind it was strange but we'll leave that fir next time.

"See wei wei daddy doesn't wanna come out so papa is going to sleep with you." He said hugging it tighter.

"You seriously destroyed my plan ge. And you're going to abandon me for that non living creature that stares at me as though I'm a world threat ? " Yibo said as he jumped out of the box. Dressed in a white dress shirt and slacks he was stunning.

Zhan had the back of his hand on his mouth trying his best to suppress the boisterous laughs he was letting out because of the younger's attempt.

This made Yibo more angry as he pouted but looking at the older who was showing his pearly whites with crescent eyes he wasn't sure if he was angry any longer. In no time found himself laughing along with the older.

"I have something to tell you."

"You have to first say sorry to wei wei."

"Why do I need to say that to my mutant dolphin of a son ?"

"Because you were rude to him." Zhan said his index finger pointing at him as he glared at the younger.

Yibo complied to the older and took the dolphin. Pulling it to face him.

"Okay sorry Wei wei my cursed son." He said while smiling.

"You're being rude again."
Zhan hit the younger's shoulder.

"Now now don't show violence to wei wei he's so innocent." He covered the eyes of the stuffed dolphin.

"You're right." Zhan said with a pout.

"Wei wei must be tired right ? Now let's get him to sleep." Yibo said knowing the older would forget about the matter.

The younger carries the dolphin to the cradle they made for him nd placed him amongst the huddle of blankets. Zhan pulled the blanket over his stuffed son.

"Why did we even adopt him ?" The younger said.

"Because he's cute."

"I wish we never did."
