"So you're telling me she kept Grace a secret all this time?!" my mom asks.
I told my mom, brother and sister about it this morning while breakfast. Mom hasn't stopped asking about it for about an hour now.
"Yes mom. I don't know what to do"
"Maybe you should start by talking with her." mom suggests.
"yes, get everything off your chest" my dad continues.
I grab my phone and car keys, say my family goodbye and drive to the hotel Alicia's staying. Once I'm at her door I knock. She carefully opens.
"We need to talk" I say getting in. On the bed lays Grace. She's playing with her little hands and making little noises.
Alicia slowly walks my way. "were you ever planning on telling me?" I ask calmly. She stays quiet.
"So you were NOT planning on telling me that I got you pregnant and I got a whole ass child?? How could you keep her a secret"
"Caleb I-"
"Please Alicia, I never expected this from you. I know, i cheated on you a few times, but keeping my child a secret from ME. That's a whole another level."
"I was hurt Caleb. I was already two months pregnant when I found out. I was planning on telling you but that was the moment you came home wasted and cheated on me AGAIN. I just couldn't do it" Alicia says quickly wiping her tears away.
"You always said you didn't wanted kids, so I thought it was better to not tell you about it"
Her last words made me quiet. She's right. But this is different.
"I got a whole career going on now. If the fans and manager finds out about me having a child-"
"Than what? Your whole life will be ruined because you got a child? Don't worry Caleb. I will take care of her. I will make sure she doesnt ruin your life. This is why I kept her a secret from you. You don't want to be her father Caleb! You don't want to be grown. You want to smoke weed and get wasted every night not caring about your family who might need your help."
"Im sorry I didn't mean it-"
"It's ok. I will continue to take care of MY child. Please stay away from me and MY daughter"
I look over to Grace and back to Alicia. It hurts to hear she really thinks I'm still the same person who cheated on her. I've changed and I want to prove it. But I just fucked it all up I guess.

Alicia's p.o.v.
Zion just left the room. I pack my bags and decided to leave the hotel. I inform the owner of the hotel to tell Zion he doesn't have to pay for it anymore.
I take an Uber to Kayla's house and knock at her door.
"Girl what are you doing here with all your stuff?! I thought Zion would take care of-"
"Forget it. Zions canceled. Can I stay a few nights? I promise I will try to find a new apartment."
"Sure Ali, come in" She takes Grace from me and I get all our bags inside her apartment. I explain everything that happened to Kayla.
"I'm so sorry this had to happen" she says hugging me.
"I need to find a job. As soon as possible. Can I borrow your laptop for a moment?"
"for sure" Kayla hands me her laptop and I start writing emails to different company's. Mostly modeling agents since that's what I like to do.
An hour or two went by and I still haven't got a notification.

I haven't spoken to Zion about Grace anymore. I told him I didn't want contact with him. He called me everyday and texted me multiple times. I ignored it. Mandy tried to get in contact with me as well, but I'm trying not to get heated around Grace. I just want peace and my mind to be clear.
Me, Grace, Kayla and Rose are having lunch at one of the restaurants when my phone starts ringing.
"I'm sorry I have to take this" I say standing up.
"hello this is Alicia, who is this?"
"hello Miss Armon, this is Janet Jones speaking. We are happy to inform you that we selected you for our new campaign. We want to meet you at the Los Angeles office since we only got room for you there. We will send you the tickets to LA and get you an apartment for two weeks there."
"oh my goodness, thank you so much!"
"No problem, we look forward meeting you. All the information will be sent to you as soon as possible and you can take the plane in two weeks"
"thank you, I'll see you in LA!"
"Bye, have a nice day!"
I end the call and turn around to Kayla and Rose.
"oh my God girls!!! I got in!!" I say screaming and holding the girls hands.
"I'm so proud of you Alicia. You're gonna kill this!!!" Rose says excited.
"The only problem is that I have to go to Los Angeles"
"Los Angeles?!" Kayla almost got out screaming.
"so you're going to leave us?" Rose asks.
"I mean, I don't know yet"
"You have to Alicia. This is the beginning of your career!! I'm begging you please go. This is about yours and Grace's future!"
Kayla's right. This is about mine and Grace's future. I need to do this and leave Ottowa behind.
- It's two weeks later and Kayla and Rose drove me and Grace to the airport. Our flight will board soon.
"I'm going to miss you guys so much!!!" I say hugging the girls.
"We will call almost everyday to check on you and Grace. Take care" Rose says.
We all hug each other goodbye. The speakers start speaking. Out plane is going in 15 minutes. Mine and Graces luggage are already on the plane. I hold Grace and my bag with some emergency stuff in my arms and get on the plane.
