" what are you doing here?" I asked her again as she did not answer me the first time .

" Hey, beastie , I wanted to invite you to my birthday party next week , so I came to ask your parents for permission " .

I looked at her suspiciously , she had never invited me to any of her parties even though I was her so called best friend.

Something about her invitation did not seem right . " Honey this is wonderful, you finally have a friend , she's such a lovely girl too".

I faked my smile hearing my mom's words . I knew she was worried about me since I had always had trouble making friends .

"Yes she's a 'lovely' girl " I said sarcastically but my sweet smile made them look past it .

" Have you had dinner dear?" Mom , asked and I nodded remembering my time with Alec .

My cheeks spotted a clear blush as I thought about him . " Oh I know that look " my mom squealed like a teenage girl .

" Mom don't " I warned her with a non threatening glare . She just continued her antics ." Who is the boy honey ?" She asked .

My dad became alert at that which made me sigh . " What boy ? Son you know the rules " .

" Yes dad, no dating til I'm at least 25" I said rolling my eyes . There was no way in hell I was following that rule.

I saw Christina , looking at me angrily , when my parents looked at her she spotted a bright smile .

" Yeah 'bestie' who is the boy ?" She smiled that trademark fake smile of hers .

I chose to ignore her , truly I had to ask myself , was I drunk the day I chose to be friends with her ? Yeah I probably was .

Even though I don't drink, that day  must have been an exception .

I left them alone to eat their food in peace . After entering my room , I went to my balcony , I just looked at the moonlight with a smile .

Alec, was on my mind again, I had to ask myself, was I falling for the man?.

Was it not too soon? Sure he accepted me for who I was, but still.

I knew nothing about him. Not to mention the fact that everyone is afraid of him. He lives alone in a huge mansion, that in itself is suspicious .

I was still lost in thought when I heard my bedroom door open . I looked back, only to see it was just Christina .

I wondered what she wanted now.  " Are you lost?" I asked her, looking at the bright moon once again .

She just laughed mockingly . " Are you enjoying being with my man slut?" I did not comment after she said that .

" You must enjoy his attention and his sweet words , right ?" I still said nothing .

" I must say I'm impressed a fag like you was able to even get him to look at you " still I remained silent .

" I'm not worried though , once he sees what kind of a slut you are he'll leave you and finally be with me, his destined wife ".

I had to say the girl was delusional . I finally turned to look at her , yet I said nothing .

" Well don't forget to come to the party " she left after saying that making me breathe a sigh of relief .

I had to wonder though , why did Alec, bother with someone like me? was there some kind of motive behind his actions.

My thoughts made me have doubts , and doubts were never good .

I knew the boy was dangerous , yet I could not help but be infatuated with him .

I sighed and decided to call it a night . I took a shower lost in thought .

I had a peaceful sleep despite my worries . Luckily the next day I did not have to go to school , as it was Saturday.

I wondered if Alec , would call me ,then I remembered he did not have my number .

I found myself a bit disappointed by that . Why did he not ask for it? Were we not friends?.

The next day I had nothing to do so I decided to paint just to pass time .

Just then my phone chimed , I looked at it and it was a message from an unknown number.

Unknown: get ready I'll come pick you up in a few .

Me: who is this ?

Unknown : did you forget me so soon princess?

Me : I'm sorry Alec, I thought it was some perv .

Alec: has someone tried anything on you? Tell me I'll take care of them.

For some reason that kind of scared me , yet I ignored my gut feeling and decided he was joking .

Me: no one has tried anything , don't worry , by the way where did you get my numbers?

Alec: that's not important get ready I'm taking you out

I decided to do as he said despite thinking something was amiss . I knew I did not give him my numbers , my parents would never give them out either .

Christina , hates me , why would she give my numbers to her 'man'? That made no sense .

I sighed deciding to leave it alone .

After I was done getting ready . He sent me a message again saying he was outside .

I told my parents I was going out with a friend, so they let me go out .
