In the house of alhaji Abubakar , there are six rooms, a very big palor with well equipped furniture ,a dinning table at the other side of the living room close to the kitchen.Alhaji Abubakar is a business man ,while his wife zinat is a full house wife.They live in kano while Alhaji runs his business in Kaduna state
They have four daughters and two boys. The first child of the family is Abdul .He works in Lagos in one of the biggest oil company.while the second born is Aliyu.The first daughters are twins ( Hassana and hussaina), the next daughter after the
twins is faridah while the auta( last
born ) is Yasmin.
Their mother is in the kitchen preparing lunch .The children take turns in doing the house chores . It was Yasmin's turn to help their mother in the kitchen while she was cooking while faridah was washing plates, Yasmin feeling reluctant to help mom in the kitchen sat in her room pressing her phone.There mother called her up to three times but Yasmin was absent minded playing game she didn't even noticed her mom entering her room . Her mother got upset and had to scream her name before she realized someone was in her room.The mother said" wato dan wulakanci kinsan yau you are the one to help in doing the cooking amma kikayi banza dani inakiranki KO?Mazamaza kiyi sauri kije kitchen kije kiyanke alaiyaho(spinach).Yasmin stood up and said toh mummy.Yesmin made a delicious soup and their mom made the tuwo.They all ate the food and were salvaiting, even there elder brother Aliyu ,who dosen't like eating tuwo made compliments saying he Rilly enjoyed the food , ashe kiniya yin miya haka ama inance kije kitchen say kibatarai kiyi kaman bakyasanaiki. They all laughed.
Meanwhile, it was already 3 pm it was a usual routine at that time for their elder brother who works in Lagos( Abdul ) to call, he called through Hassana's phone and they all cracked jokes, he kept saying mummy I missed all of you ,will try and come back next week.Yasmin was already wearing a long face she was jealous saying ya Abdul you did not give me attention you did not call through my line , Abdul and Yasmin have been very close since Yasmin was a baby he loved and cared for her, he does anything for her to the extend that he can hurt his other siblings if they made the baby of the house(Yasmin) provoked or cry. .
Abdul said inbakae da abinki ba my sweet baby sis kinsancewai I will call you through video call on WhatsApp before you go to sleep, oya smile for me Jor, Am of them teased them and laughed that abun Nasu hakayekoma they all laughed and said good bye to their big brother over the phone.
