Chapter 5

Meanwhile at the station.

"What the hell do you mean, you lost the papers!" A loud voice said so that the whole room could hear him. Chris walked in holding the coffee and saw Captain Wesker yelling at Forest for losing his papers. Chris said nothing and tried to sneak in and place the coffee down. He almost got away it if it weren't for Barry. "Hey Chris, when did you get in?" Chris flinched at this. Captain Wesker turned his head to look at Chris as he stood up straight and turned around. "Just a minute ago." Chris said answering Barry's question.

Chris looked at Captain Wesker and Forest who was standing 20ft away from him. The place went dead silent as Captain Wesker and  Chris stared at each other, the confrontation lasted about two minutes until Rebecca and Jill came in talking about girl stuff.

Captain Wesker went back to yelling at Forest and Forest trying to give an excuse, but Captain Wesker wouldn't hear it. Chris looked at Jill and Rebecca and handed them their coffee along with Barry's. Brad also came in and say Forest getting yelled at for his own stupidity and walked over to Chris. "What did he do this time?" "He lost some papers so Captain Wesker is yelling at him for it." Chris said handing him his coffee. "That idiot" Brad said taking his coffee. "Tell me about it" Chris said taking his. "You're still not off the hook for last night Chris." Captain Wesker said as Forest walked away and headed to Chris for his morning cup of joe. Chris blew it off and drank his coffee. Forest looked at him and asked "what did you do to set him off this morning?" Everybody looked at him and waited for an answer. "Apparently I left early last night and I wasn't suppose to." Chris said taking another sip of his coffee and sat down.

Everybody sighed and sat down and started to get to work. Chris did the same but periodically looked over to see what Captain Wesker was doing and occasionally glared at him. What Mary said this morning still bugged him. °recap° °Okay fine, he was totally checking you out°  'Captain Wesker was checking out Lenna, no way I don't believe it. He would never do it, and why am I so angry at this. I mean it's not like I like her, do I? Never mind all that, I have to get to work.' Chris thought then went back to work so that Captain Wesker couldn't yell at him for not doing it.

At that point Kenneth tried to sneak in by crawling to his desk but hit his head on Chris's desk instead. "Ow" Kenneth said blowing his cover. With that Kenneth stood up and turned around only to find Captain Wesker right behind him, which startled Kenneth, Chris, and Forest by his 'sudden' appearance. "Ahh" Kenneth said as he tripped over Chris's waste basket and fell to the ground. Captain Wesker was not impressed and looked furious with Kenneth's constant sleeping in and traffic excuses that he liked to give him.

"In my office, Now!" Captain Wesker said turning around and headed back to his office. Kenneth got up and looked at Chris and Forest for help. Both immediately went back to work leaving him high and dry once they got the deadly glare from Captain Wesker. Kenneth walked in and closed the door. Everybody heard faint yelling coming from the half glass office. Chris sighed and Forest hit him on the back saying "look what you get to look forward to later tonight." Chris glared at him and continued to work, Forest did the same. After a few minutes of yelling Kenneth came out and sat at his desk and started to get to work. Everybody stopped and glanced at him to see if he would break down. Kenneth did not and took a deep breath and stretched before he went to work. Everybody then did the same. They were all done by lunch and got ready to leave for their lunch/snack break.

Chris stood up and stretched, when he went to grab his jacket Captain Wesker called him into his office. He looked over to see if he had a chance to sneak out and avoid Captain Wesker yelling at him. Unfortunately Captain Wesker was staring right at him, Chris sighed and walked into his office and closed the door. "You wanted to see me?" Chris asked standing close to the door, ready to leave at any second. Captain Wesker looked up and fixed his sunglasses on his face. "I thought about you're punishment for leaving work early last night to take the girl from the coffee shop and her friend home." "First of all, I saw them walking in the rain and decided to give them a ride and second how do you know about that?" Chris asked. "Barry talks vary loudly therefore, I could here yours and Barry's conversation this morning about how she lives in the same apartment complex as you and how you gave her a ride this morning." Wesker stated, leaning back into his chair and looking at Chris. "Great, now you're listening in our conversations." Chris said angrily at his boss, this did not sit well with Captain Wesker at all. In fact it pissed him off even more.

"Chris, I am not in a happy mood today and your attitude is not helping any." Captain Wesker said standing up and walking toward Chris "and if you don't want a severe punishment, I suggests you drop it." Captain Wesker said getting into Chris's face. He was about to say something else but his phone. "Your dismissed, but I had better see you here at 8:30 to receive you're punishment." Captain Wesker said sitting back into his chair and answering the phone. Chris left the room and grabbed his jacket and left the station. Captain Wesker took his sunglasses off and set them on his desk. He sighed and rubbed his eyes. 'What was Chris's attitude about when I brought up the fact that he took that girl from the coffee shop home? What was her name, oh right Lenna.' Captain Wesker thought. He then smiled and thought 'Chris likes Lenna, I wonder if she likes him.' Captain Wesker put his sunglasses back on. "Now to figure out a punishment for Chris."

Captain Wesker got to work about a punishment for Kenneth, always being late, Forest for losing his papers, and Chris for leaving early and his attitude over nothing. He stood up and went to the break room to make himself some coffee in order to come up with ideas for a punishment that would fit the situation perfectly and would teach them to behave and follow the rules.

Sorry for not updating. I have been lazy and trying to come up with ideas for this. Thank you for reading. ^vv^
